I will try, but as I don't live close to Paris, I can't have the medical ahead of time. I wonder if they can schedule us an earlier interview, there might be no slot available for the examination the same week. Well if it is not possible, I can still keep my late July interview, right?

That's why I say get medical done now and be ready if you were to get an earlier date and not ready you can't change back. That slot is gone.

Wow I haven't left a message on VJ for awhile. I have a question. I had called NVC on June 5th in order to get an update on my case. I was told I had case complete June 3rd. I called yesterday and spoke to Jim at NVC and he told me i didn't have CC yet. To call back in a couple of days. I called today and Arthur stated I have case complete since today. Has anybody ever experienced this?!?!?

It happened to me... They gave me a CC on June 2nd, then took it back on June 4th in the morning and then I spoke to a supervisor and they gave it back to me on June 4th in the late afternoon/early evening.

They said it was an extra review...... BLAH BLAH BLAH

Yeah right, what I meant was I cannot have two round trips to Paris, as it is too far and expensive. But thanks for your help!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

Dwheels - do you know how soon doctors can get you in for medicals in Vietnam?

As long as you have $$$, you are the first one in the line haha. From some people that I know, their case was completed early in May and their interview is around Mid July. We gotta wait until August man

Silly question about the tracking info. In the example in the Link it says EXP is that for EXAMPLE or should we be putting the first 3 letters of our embassy, SDO, etc?

Congratulations on your interview date!!! I am still waiting for CC and expecting no checklist (last scanned docs were on May 27) and was afraid that the DR consulate moving will lead us into another backlog situation. Just came back from DR yesterday.

The reason that I ask is because you need the interview appointment letter to get a medical and the last thing I want is to not have a slot opened before interview.

Im not worry about it's full man. If it was full, I'll give them extra $10-$20, they will put my name on top of the list. Money talk man, that's how it works in Vietnam.

All I can suggest is go here to your countries information portal and then get in touch with the hospitals physicians and ask. Cuz this is country specific and I know some countries doctors its by appointment. Nigeria is walk in.
