Found out yesterday that my interview will be July 1st.

My NOA1 April 2013, so for some reason I'm not excited? I probably don't believe it.

I'm thinking of going against all the advice and booking a flight in advance, but probably 3 weeks after the interview to be safe. Flying from Australia it could mean the difference of $1000 to book ahead of time so I feel like it's a calculated risk.

Congrats on the interview date!! Thank goodness this extended process for you both is finally coming to an end :luv::dancing::dancing:

So, I have changed my profile pic to one of me and hubby last year in BG. I have never put a pic of myself on the internet before. ( I'm just weird like that) I don't facebook or anything. But all this talk about hair and stuff has made me decide to put this up for awhile. Hubby's the cute one!!

I haven't felt comfortable with the idea of picture up either... do you think it's because we didn't grow up with technology tied to our hip? :P

Your picture is perfect!! :D

Here's a pic of us 8 yrs ago when we first met.attachicon.gifCRUISE 069.jpg

My goodness we look so young!

Beautiful shot of you two!! :star::star::star:

Thanks for the compliments! Yes I'm sure it's because we are old!!! Lol! I remember the days when friends and family would gather at the end of the week and discuss the events in their lives. Now everyone just face books and tweets or whatever. And it's just not the same. For Pete's sakes nobody even CALLS each other anymore!!!

This is actually the first website I have posted on in my whole life. But i needed the info for hubby and I to accomplish our goal of being together. I knew nothing of this process and needed help. What you won't do for live!!!! Lol!!! :)

Her passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of her interview. She will need a new passport or an extension of the expiry date (if Russia does extensions that is).

Thanks very much B&G, I was vaguely aware of this requirement when we started the process in June '13, but thought we'd be finished by now. Unfortunately, it moves very slowly (literally nothing happened at USCIS for 8 months except for the file being sent from one office to another) and so now we have to get the new passport. I'm glad I thought about it now rather than in July.

Hello dwheels pls what do I need for medical exams in lagos and how long does it take?

Hello dwheels pls what do I need for medical exams in lagos and how long does it take to get the results

Results are ready in 4 days for pickup. You need interview letter, 2 passport picks. See the consular information page for country portal it has the two places to get medicals.

How long does the medical take i have no idea depends on what has to be done. If the person is over 40 there is extra stuff expect a few hours.

Pls I also want to ask, what is the format for e-mail sent to reschedule interview date?

No format just write. But be sure on Subject line you have Case# beneficiary name and Reschedule Interview

And just state your interview date and you would like to receive an earlier date if a all possible. Thats it.

Okay every country is different. Unfortunately your country has no information on the portal so I have no idea if you can go in the embassy. Very few embassies allow it.

Time back can't say if you have their email I suggest you contact and ask them that. Welcome to the thread Congratulations.
