My Medicals just got over today..went smooth.. :thumbs:

Got the sealed medical envelope,now waiting for the interview day and be done with this.

DHL shows the file has been delivered to the consulate but CEAC still shows as 'In transit'.

I tired last night, nothing yet !! but I plan to stalk them today !

I was on hold for 56 mins with the NVC to hear that the NVC is done scheduling interviews for the month of July. I asked is there a possibility that there will be a second round of interviews for the London embassy, the guy Jim stated that yes sometimes that occurs, but there is no guarantee... Anyone in this forum have this experience, especially at the london embassy?

Horse Pucky.... I don't believe that #######.. We have so many people in VJ waiting for interviews. I know we are a small percentage of filers but they must be holding out for everyone. Wait til the 15th .. If you look at the spreadsheet, the second round starts very soon for the people who got CC's in the first week of the month.... .

Just booked the medical too! Boy, seems like things are suddenly moving so fast!

My parents had their interview this morning in London and were approved :D Finally after 15 months, we are done. I will post a detailed review when I Skype with them this weekend, but they were asked the following:

Who I was

Where I lived

What did I do

When they were planning to go to the US

Where they were going to live when they got there

My Mum was also asked a trick question asking if she had been to Colorado before as there was someone there with her maiden name. Weird question to ask but she answered no and told the immigration person that you can't catch me out, lol!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me with questions along the way, especially Saylin and D-Wheels. I couldn't have got through all the paperwork without all your expert advice. To anyone else that is still waiting, keep the faith and you will be reunited with your family soon :)

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

This is great news! Thanks for the response. I am still a bit pessimistic on a July interview for our case, but huh who knows? Was it easy to book for the medical? Did the doctor have many slots available (worrying about this too - amongst many other things - as I don't live in Paris). So happy for you, you waited a long time and now you finally know when you will be with your loved one! :-)

Congratulations, happy for you, it's about time!. It appears Paris embassy does not follow any particular logic. I will be calling later to find out about our case (CC May 27)
