3 days after interview and I am just now checking in.

First off, thank you to everyone who has congratulated my husband and me, and second, congratulations to all those case completes and those who have recieved interview dates.

Having my husband here feels like a dream. Thank you to everyone who helped along the way even if just to say they understood how I was feeling. Hang in there guys! There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm glad to say I can join this thread. Case complete: June6, 2014. Currently waiting for an interview date. Please add me to the spread sheet. Also I just wanted to know whether we will get a July interview date?

I am so so happy for you, but also jealous lol. Wish I had a date already so I could book a ticket and move on with my life.

Btw, you were totally right about your housing selling quickly. Wish the closing of my house (I was purchasing) had gone that smoothly.

It makes me very sad that ... well, so many things! that NVC is such a pain in everyone's ...(processing) ; that we were neck and neck and you're still waiting on that interview; that everyone has to wait so long to be with their loved one(s) again, and so on!

I hope you get it early this coming week!

The last 3 have the same date interview scheduled as interview date which is probably not right. Can you remove their interview schedule date as it is a little misdirecting and makes it seem as if they got interviews later in the month. (currently in the future )

also the first person there I suspect the year is wrong as it currently says they got their interview scheduled on December 2014 and then had their interview on January 2014 probably it should say Dec 2013 for scheduled date

You are missing that n. just a typo. Also Interview email is taking 7+ days atm so maybe for next month's thread you can update that.

I checked the spreadsheet you have on google docs, and I haven't seen anyone with a July interview.... Is it possible that the London embassy will do another round of interviews for the month of July? August is a little far- stretched.

We have July interview. a couple of months back I saw them schedule interviews at london around the 19th

Well I called NVC just before they closed for the weekend and no interview date yet, but Don assured me that they are still scheduling July interviews.

NVC completed my case on June 2nd but put it back in review and completed it again on June 4th. The supervisor told me they were just reviewing since there was another piece of mail from May 23rd (which was only an email they sent to me that was incorrect and then corrected) I got a supervisor involved and she was great !

Now I just want my interview. It looks like the interviews will be scheduled this week.

They may ignore you until they get the file in their hands they can't do anything with your case.

But if the CEAC status shows "Ready" (which I mentioned in my previous message) then the embassy already has the case file and it's okay to contact them about a different interview date, right?

Not necessarily. Ready means you got an interview. Doesn't mean you are at embassy. have you verified with NVC your casefile has been sent? When did it leave?

You can always email them and ask for a different date. No harm they will let you know whether your casefile is there or not.

oh, thanks for clarifying, as my case said in transit while it was enroute to the embassy, then ready when it was definitely there.

Does anyone know how many interviews the US Embassy in Vietnam conducts in any given day/week? Any US Embassy for that matter.

Case complete is specific to your embassy. You can't compare different embassies. Remember there are many in the queue before and after you so its about where you are and what UK has space for.

dwheels, as Lakehouse said, thank you for clarifying. Perhaps the case file hasn't been sent yet for my wife's July 21 interview as I haven't seen "In Transit" yet. I'll call NVC soon to find out if it was sent, but it's not urgent since we want to wait for her renewed passport before we request an earlier interview date, just to be safe.

Paid the $165 USCIS Immigrant Fee right now. First you need to create an account at USCIS ELIS. Also, found out that when you enter the A# you need add a 0 at the front.

The A# printed on the sheet which they gave her had only 8 digits - xxx xx xxx

You need to type A0xxx xx xxx

I paid using my checking a/c. But found out one could use credit card too, to pay this fee.

Interview review:

We arrived in Ciudad Juarez on Sunday around 6pm. On Monday my husband left for his medical around 5am. (No appointment, you can just show up.) I waited for him at our hotel because of our 8 month old. He got back around 7:20am.

Congratulations!!! It's been quite an eventful and exciting week!
