I havnt gotten my CC email yet.

Has anyone here gotten their interview date without/after getting a case complete email from NVC?

I got my CC email about 10 days after my case was completed. Also another email told me bring my 2013 tax return to VN embassy.

We might have to waiting until at the end of this month to get the interview schedule

Just read this! So what happens now?? Just keep waiting for the NVC? Because don't they say that it is up to the Embassy to release available dates to schedule? So confusing.

Nice to see you in this thread LifeOnHold. I guess your life not on Hold anymore haha

Just found this thread, came over from June Interviews. My husband took care of his medical last week, and he said it went well. He was nervous, but happy to see he was 100% as healthy as always. :) His interview date is still set for June 17th, so that's only 1 week and 3 days away from now. :D As happy and excited as I am, I'm struggling with anxiety just imagining anything that could go wrong. I hate the suspense! Anyway, trying to prep him for the interview as much as possible and help him organize all his papers properly, make sure he has everything he needs. Hoping to spend the 4th of July together this year, but probably shouldn't get my hopes up. Every holiday/occasion I thought we'd be together I ended up disappointed!

Congrats to everyone who has already had successful interviews this month and good luck to the rest of ya'll that are still waiting! :)

Well, getting things done keeps me from the forums, and wow the pages add up fast (esp the NVC thread lol).

I have my medical appt and flight booked for it next week.

My house is 'sold' as of yesterday after only 2 weeks, with a possession date of July 22, yay!

My interview and flight/trip is booked for July 8th, and all my paperwork is ready to go.

I've put in my work notice for July 11th as my final day, and my 9 days of vacation requests in order to get all the packing and affairs finalized, and UPACK is booked for mid July.

Wow it all feels soooo good to finally be able to act on everything!! :energy:

Oh, and CEAC states 'ready' which I soooooooo ammmmmmm :P

I don't quite understand how one person knows three interviews have gone out unless through pms or something but I am guessing I missed the boat here >.>

No. No one gets taken off unless I never get an update for interview. I have to clean up the list because there are a few. Many people never come back and i can't chase everyone on VJ. It's sad these stats help others. Oh well maybe let me go get the dates if they have a timeline which I doubt.

**Well found Sheta. But Bebobyby no longer on VJ under that name so I will remove them. And Verona has no timeline so I will delete them also.

Thank though for the information.

Wow congrats on your progress! Last time I saw hubby in BG I brought back with me a suitcase full of his clothes. I have left it sitting in my spare room untouched for over a year. But yesterday I unpacked it, washed all the clothes and hung them in the closet!

This made me feel so happy. And makes everything feel more REAL!!!! :)

No. The petitioner does not have to be at the interview. They may go for moral support though. Actually there are some embassy's that don't allow anyone else in during the interview. This varies by country. My hubby just had his in BG and I was not there. I'm here in the US preparing for his arrival. Hope this helps. :)

Counting the days. My husband is going for his medical this Tuesday. We're nervous and hoping it all goes well without a hitch.

His interview is on July 10th. Do you think it's okay for him to bring along our 3 year old US Citizen son? We don't have anyone to watch him because my mother in law won't be able to take off work anymore since she's already taking off 3 days to watch over him while my husband goes for his medical. His interview is at the embassy in Manile, Philippines if it matters.

Just wondering... why track packages?

Howdy! Some people track to know where their cases are, when it gets there, just keep an eye on their files. Some, who want to change interview dates, track it so they know when the file has reached the consulate. Only when the consulate/embassy has the file can they change interview dates.

My husbands police certificate expires in August. He will be in America by then (unless his interview doesn't go well). Should he get a new one anyway?

no need to get another pc... it is still good for 2 months and besides he will be in america by the time it expires. all the best in your upcoming interview.
