No. I mean the package which include the original copy and phopocopy of your marriage cert.,birth cert., police clearance(nbi), copy of your passport(1st page) 2pcs 2x2 picture..did you send this documents to nvc?because after paying iv fee you need to send you iv packet.are you the beneficiary? If yes you need to send the iv packet..

I just want to share my interview experience today! The immigration officer checked all my submitted documents and he said I think you are good. Then he asked me, "When and how did you meet your husband and where did you get married?" After I answered he said, ok we will send your visa within 2 weeks. I was like, "Sir I just want to clarify, is my visa approved?" He said, "Yes! We got everything we need and you submitted the complete documents!" I said, "Thank you sir!" and I left. Lol...

Visa Approved!!!! Yaaaaayyyy!!!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone here in VJ! Y'all are awesome! Thank you everyone for all the help and assistance! Special thanks to Saylin and Dwheels76!

Huge Congratulations to those who got case complete and those who got visa approvals!

Congrats in your approval!! :)

I think you need to give it a day or two for the DHL to work. From what I remember reading is that it takes time for them to put the tracking info updated, plus sometimes it will take 1 day for them to actually send it too. But idk I'll have to figure out how to track my own whenever the time comes.

I like the peace and quiet of this thread versus NVC one. one can actually keep up without reading more than once per day and it feels nice and cozy here because people seem more relax (no more nvc checklist or onhold nerves) :P

I agree with you! I ve been working 12 hr shifts this week and it has been impossible to keep up. I'm missing peoples cc and interviews though! I see them days later! Lol! :)

Question, so a lot of you guys(the petitioners) aren't traveling for the interview? Your spouses are doing it on their own? I told my hubby that I am not to sure if I am going to be able to go for the interview, I don't want this though to affect the approval.

Had my interview today. By Gods grace & help from VJ members, got A. P. P. R. O. V. E. D. Thanks everyone. :)

Thanks everyone for congratulating me. I feel like I am still dreaming. Only once i get the passport back with the visa stamp inside I think then I can just sit and relax. Have been checking the CEAC site constantly for progress. It showed as Administrative processing till yesterday and today it got changed to ISSUED. Visa printed. Hopefully will get my passport shortly. Cant wait to see how it looks like with my name on it. Got the best gift for my first year wedding anniversary which was a day before my interview.

June interview thread has been locked i believe so had to use this thread just incase if someone is wondering why i am here. :)

PS. somebody requested to share the interview experience, so check my timeline.its been updated. Goodluck to everyone.

Hi everyone, I am going through the consulate in Sydney, Australia and read that we needed to submit "packet 3" with a "statement of readiness to interview". Has anyone else heard this? As far as I knew, NVC would send all the docs to the consulate and I would only have to bring passport photos, passport, the medical info, proof of our relationship, and copies of the into we sent to NVCalong with receipts of payment.

snikit15, the website for the Sydney Consulate is soooooo outdated! It still has the instructions for DCF - and Australia doesn't do that anymore! NVC will send the docs to the Consulate, and you will bring exactly what you list above.

There is so much that is outdated on ALL the US Embassy sites!

Let me know when you get your date - I'm not too far behind you!

We are just going through our interview letter now.. And what our lawyer said, and making our folder.

can you believe it!!! The NVC letter .. For passport gives the code Y which says "the NVC sent this form or document to the us embassy or consulate"

WHAT! Lol imagine some poor sod actually following their letter and NOT taking the passport. EEK! Makes me worried there is other stuff wrong on our interview letter now. hopefully my lawyers advice is correct.
