Happy New year everyone.

Can someone please update my info. RFE received dated december 15th. i already replied back. hopefully no interview but if they send another RFE request, I would rather prefer an interview. it's easier to just go to an interview and get it over with then to keep replying to these RFE's in my opinion.

basically first year tax return to be precise. i sent a letter stating that how we both were finishing studies at that time and weren't reqd. to file due to lack of income. also sent college id's, letter from the dean and a print out from the irs site stating my reason.

12/9 - online it says transfered to a local office. I read that everyone who was transfered from VSC to CSC had the same message. When I contacted USCIS (Tier 1) they stated it was transfered from VSC to CSC to the local office to 'expedite' processing. BAsed on some posts in the forum - I see people indicating that there really isnt a transfer to a local office...

Did anyone get approval without going to 2nd bio ? I am bit confused. Some of us saying that we have to go to 2nd bio. I went and showed my previous one they told me to i do not need 2nd bio. My case was in Vermont and transferred the California. 2nd bio was in November.

- Received 2nd Biometric notice on Jan 2nd (probably) to go to appointment this week

- Approval notice received last week mentioning Green Card was in production

- 3/4 days later received the card via post

- Approval notice received last week mentioning Green Card was in production

- 3/4 days later received the card via post

SO I got an email this evening:

"Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 12, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us..."

...Which is great, since my 2nd bio appointment was for tomorrow! Now I don't have to miss hours from work!

I'm thankful. Next up: citizenship. For everyone still waiting and/or plowing through RFEs... hang in there... this too shall pass!
