Hello everyone. Hope all is well. Just wanted to provide the latest update from USCIS. Will provide an update when we receive the new green card.

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 8, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by February 7, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Did anyone get approval without going to 2nd bio ? I am bit confused. Some of us saying that we have to go to 2nd bio. I went and showed my previous one they told me to i do not need 2nd bio. My case was in Vermont and transferred the California. 2nd bio was in November.

What did you guys do ?

I didn't receive the 2nd bio appointment yet! I am afraid they lost my application. Might call the customer service today.

Looks like they still processing transfers from 10/29, I guess the next batch will be the ones transferred on 11/18

To check status shall we use new receipt no which is on 2nd Bio, or the previous one which is on 1st Bio letter.

My new receipt no gives no status information

The new receipt number is useless. The old one is your receipt number. Please refer to the transfer letter you received.

Hi zoom123,

When I spoke to a tier 2 support officer at the USCIS, he advised that the new receipt number was auto generated with the 2^nd bio request. He advised to ignore the new receipt number and continue using the old number.

As you’ve discovered the new receipt number doesn’t pull any case, it gives error.

Ironically enough... I received my approval letter and green card in the mail today! Done for another 10 years! Unless I naturalize... Good luck all!!

She was transfered on 10/29. So I guess the applications transfered on 11/18 are next.
