Wait, so they sent you a NOA1 but did not cash the check? I thought those were related processes, but I guess not. I still hope to see NOA1 in the mail soon. I will feel better when I have my one-year extension.

Hey MissDinaDee, I don't wish to sound alarmist, but if I were in your position I would see if I could have a free chat with an immigration lawyer, I believe USCIS need to receive your package and have officially started processing it by the time your green card expires. I'm sure you'll be fine and the lawyer will tell you that, but it's always good to check these things before they become a problem.

I just spoke with an agent at USCIS and she said it will process normally. PHEW!!

Fingers crossed that she was right! It was received within the 90 days prior to the expiration including the expiration date. June 12th receipt of my docs may have been a different story!

Hi

I'm new and still don't know how visajourney works so please be patient!

I sent my ROC package yesterday 06/11/14

it's suposed to arrive tomorrow to the California Center.

I'm nervous! my green card expires in a month (07/12)
