yeah, so what's confusing is...

3 weeks ago - transferred to csc, got letter and case said transferred to a different service center.

1 week ago, online case status changed to transferred to local office.

im cool with an interview, was just confused why csc punted to local office. makes no sense to go from east coast to west coast back to east coast.

either that, or their status reporting is boofed.

The online message "case transferred local office" means it's at CSC. Their system is messed up i agree.

What is the meaning of Early Bio... what time they call as early as ? any IDEA ?

when did u file your application? did u get a biometrics appointment letter yet? because u have to have the bio letter with you in order to try early walk in.

early bio means if you show up for biometrics earlier than the scheduled date. You can walk in at the centre and try if u want. 50/50 chance.

don't think it really matters if u get it done a few days earlier but if u have a valid reason (job etc) then by all means go for it. good luck.

Guys question.... I just checked online, it says case was received at local office.... And the letter which I received 2 days back says that my has been transffred to CSC...

Anyone more thing when I called the automated system it's saying that Plz allow 180 days after the date of transfer....

I just answered that question couple hours back

that online "local office" message is same for everyone. ignore it as it means case transferred to CSC. their online system is crappy but again we are dealing with govt so it's expected . good luck.

Mine says the same thing.... I applied June 23 and now when I called they saying that has been transffred to local office and give us 180 days to process the application.....

Did anyone transferred on dec 1 receive any new upadates?

Mine is saying that my application was received today 12/9.

Same glitch as with my case. I filed in June, but after end of October transfer the online status said that my application was received on November 6. Wouldn't worry about it though. I got approved last week, so the error on the website did not mean that my case wound up at the bottom of the pile.

By the way, another interesting nugget of information. Today I received a letter in the mail saying that my conditions were removed (on form I-797). The notice was signed by somebody at USCIS in Fort Smith, Arkansas, of all places. So maybe my case was finally adjudicated at a local office. I guess we'll never know for sure, and it doesn't really matter.
