just be careful because maybe while you are away visiting your family USCIS will ask something from you or maybe denied your petition, and if they denied while you are away you won't be able to get in the country again.

hey guys , just got a Notice I 797 C for me to go and do my biometrics again , I did it in july when Vermont Center made the appointment and now that my case

was transferred to California office , they want me to do it again . I dont know why but I think that USCIS made a mistake with some cases . take a look on this

We just received the same kind of email today asking for a biometrics appointment on Nov 24 even though was already completed several months ago. The case was just last week also transferred to CSC from VSC and we initially filed around 6/12.

Is this a mistake or does there need be another biometrics appointment?

Hi guys I got a ASC appointment for biometrics AGAIN!!!!! We did this already!! Anyone else get this? We were transferred earlier In the month.

After speaking with uscis, the representative said that since the case transferred to CSC, it is at that center's discretion to ask for another biometrics appointment. So it seems it has to be attended which seems ridiculous.

As anybody that's not transferred tried to contact VSC to find out what exactly is happening? Or do we have to wait till after 6 months before making enquiries?

OMG What a mess! I have a trip to other country in December...hopefully they wont ask me to show up while I am out.
