Quick question guys...

We received a letter saying: Uscis forwarded your correspondence or information to the NVC. NVC is unable to assist you with your inquiry. Please direct your inquiry to the US embassy or Consulate genern processing your petition.

I have no idea what correspondence they are referring to. We were already approved a couple months ago. There is no case number or anything that I can identify what they are referencing to on this letter

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • 4 weeks later...

From the March thread Vermont Service Center (29 applicants, 15 approved - 52%). It looks like they are taking a little longer then 6 months to approve applications. It appears that VSC is processing 3 times more applications then CSC. Maybe they should send some to CSC for processing.

So, I haven't checked back in some time and was thinking about going through the topics on VisaJourney on my drive home when I got a text saying that my case status was updated. I got excited, thinking that maybe finally VSC was moving… Then I got a follow-up email saying this:

On October 29, 2014, we transferred this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Anybody have any idea what this means? Online the case status is still "Initial Review." I wonder if my change of address within the same city in August sent my case to the bottom of the pile.
