When or how do I get a tracking number for the GC? What carrier is it? UPS? I know I have read posts about it but I can't find any right now. Thank you everyone for the wonderful support and information on this site. Now on to English classes and citizenship.

Chiquitavaliente, as you have already posted this message on your approval notice

"On July 30, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

You'll get your card in 30 days; most likely in a week or two.

They will mail your card through USPS (US Postal Service priority mail), but you won't receive any tracking number, just like when you received your conditional card two years ago.

Just be patient and stop worrying since your request has been approved.

That is correct, unless you receive RFEs, then you must follow any instructions given to you.

The process of Removing Condition on your GC can take up to a whole year; hopefully you'll get a quick approval. Good luck

First of all, congrats !!

I did quick search and found this post in March filers thread. They didn't get e-mail notification, but usually, you'll get this few days (?) after you get approved and you can find tracking info on your case status. And they send card using Priority Mail envelope and you don't need to sign to receive it.

Hey guys! Got approved! Didn't get any notifications, but decided to look up at the website this morning and there was the "Congratulations..." message. Just looked up few minutes ago again and it changed already, now it says "USPS reported they picked up your card this morning..." and they give me a tracking # and a link that if you click it shows up right away when it'll be delivered. I'll be getting it Saturday the 5th. This is a big relief and I wish all the best of luck to everybody else that has been waiting!

Congratulations to everyone who got approved! I have a question that I am sure has been asked a bunch of times but I figured I'd run it by people here. Has anyone tried traveling out of the country on an expired green card with an I-751 Receipt Notice? It does say "Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year." so that should be sufficient to get out and back int the US? I am asking because we are planning a Caribbean cruise and my wife's green card expires on the day of the cruise. Thank you in advance for any knowledge you can share.

This is what happened to my case, they ordered production of my card on 24th July, on 29th it changed to my card had been picked up, then today 30th July, the status has changed to USPS has picked up my card and gave me the tracking number and USPS website. When I checked the website, it indicated that the card/mail left KY at 2.02pm and indicated that the expected arrival would be Saturday August 2nd. Am sorry am not good in explaining things but hope this helps.

Yes, U.S. authorities would honor the extension.

Thank you. I called VSC to verify and they said it should be fine. Just wanted to hear other people's experiences.
