on top of all the main docs, we sent, car insurance , contract of purchase of a car on both names with both signatures, another car insurance, phone plan and bill together, 5 letters from family and friends , one of wich we shared house with, many photos, gym membership together. Lease of the house where we live now, and drivers license with same address on.

what we are missing is a joint bank account and a lease for the first years we shared homes.

joint bank account is very important especially joint bank account & credit card too..

but I saw that some people didn't create joint account. but They eventually got approved.. they created joint bank account after RFE and they wrote it down why we used different account...

if your husband has many student loans and bad credit. you should explain it also get husband's bank statement or transaction. with student loan stuff too?

you should give them the strong reason which makes them understand your situation and explain to them our marriage life was real.

they are trying to give you green card however, they want to see more evidence. it means you should show everything what you have to them. we are not talking with them(uscis) we have to send documents and that's all.yeah it is very difficult and hard sometimes. but they may want to talk about your case too but they can't lol..so . it means you should submit everything as you can.

I saw some people faced more difficult situation before. but eventually they got approved. they didn't have joint bank account + lease agreement too. but They lived in family house. so She got letter from dad(of course notarized). Opened joint bank account too. they didn't forget explanation letter with evidence too. plus more letter from friends and pictures too.

now we should think positive. Request for evidence means that they already opened your case ( they started to review your case!!!) and they were about to give you approval letter. Unfortunately, they couldn't give you approval letter however, they gave you 1 more chance to show your evidence. it sounds like a presentation.. but this is 2nd time so you better prepare well so you can avoid interview!

plus, it means you will get approve pretty soon once you respond RFE. Don't get too much stress.. you will get green card!

Technology is going really well today. The website doesn't allow me to edit my own post and I tried to call to USCIS for a status update, which gives me the same error message all over. "You have entered enough digits" bla bla bla.

I tried calling with the cell and with Skype.Whenever I have to enter my receipt # it claims that I a missing digits,even though I entered all 10 of them.

Back to waiting for the mail man.

I hear you. I'm still waiting, too. NOA date of June 20, transferred to CSC on Nov. 18, no 2nd biometrics notice, and when I called to put in a service request I was told I was still within the timeline because CSC was adjudicating cases from June 3. I hope we get approved before it's time to apply for citizenship...
