FAQ:

1. How long it will take to get my NOA1?

-NOA1 usually comes between 1-2 weeks.

2. How long it will take to get my Biometrics appointment letter?

-You will receive your Biometrics appointment letter usually within a month of submitting your application.

3. Which receipt number should I put on USCIS web to track my case online?

-You have to put the Application Number on your biometrics appointment letter to track your case online.

4. Why I didn't receive Biometrics appointment letter?

-Don't panic. Currently USCIS has made some unannounced changes. Mostly those who are here(USA) other than CR-1/IR-1 visa such as- K1,F1 etc, will have their biometrics CURRENT. So there is no need to go to ASC for Biometrics & you will not get an appointment letter.

5. How do I find out if my Biometrics is CURRENT?

-You have to call USCIS and ask for service request after 1 month anniversary of your NOA1 receipt date or you can call USCIS's tier 2 representative and ask them if your Biometrics is CURRENT. If so, ask them to give you the new case #.

6. How can I get my case # for online tracking since I didn't receive biometrics appointment letter?

-Call USCIS, and specifically request to be connected to a Tier 2 supervisor (bypassing the tier 1 customer reps). When connected to a Tier 2 representative, first, ask them why didn't you receive your biometrics letter yet. Second, request that you want to know your case # (what suppose to be on BIO letter) since you didn't receive biometrics appointment letter.

Hello guys,

I thought I was going to be a May filer but we are sending off our packet next week. I have compiled some evidence... please let me know your thoughts.

- 44 pictures showing our ongoing relationship

- Phone Bills

- Joint Savings, Checking and Credit Card statements

- Joint Tax Returns (transcripts)

- 401K Beneficiary Info

- 2 automobile sales w/ both names

- Furniture receipts w/ both names

- Utility bills w/ both names

- Health insurance cards

- Vacation itinery's

- 3 affidavits

- letter from bank showing that we maintain accounts together

- marriage certificate

- copy of drivers license showing joint residence

- copy of w2's showing joint residence

- Junk mail such as credit card offers to show joint residence (still thinking if we should include this)

His employer actually wrote a letter stating how valuable he is to the company... I was going to include it but I am not sure if its necessary. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

Your list looks good.

They just want to see joint documents,i don't think this letter is important.

But if you want,you can include doc from his job listing you as emergency contact or vice versa.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

You will be in first June filers because your NOA1 will have Receipt date of June.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions
