OK, folks. It's official!!!

CASE COMPLETE AS OF JUNE 4!!!

:dancing: :joy: :dancing:

AND, I must have good luck - I never had to speak to either Joy or AH-thur!!!!

Jim was the bearer of good news. He didn't even ask me "What can I help you with this evening?". He cut right to the chase and told me the case was complete!

Then, when I gently pushed, he read me the standard line about interview scheduling and it depended on how busy the consulate was, blah, blah, blah. But he told me he loved being able to tell people good news!!!!

Now....waiting on interview scheduling....

For those of you waiting - it does appear that an "N/A" under "Affidavit of Support Fees" is a positive indicator of case complete. My package explaining that the checklist item they wanted was 1) not required and 2) not available was scanned in on May 9th.

Sukie

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

So happy for you :)

I know that. I am comparing my 261 and AOS date to his dates to estimate a Time for my IV invoice. Past May 11 NVC is very disorganized and unpredictable. From 4-5 days MAX between AOS to IV in April to 2-3weeks in second half of May.

Him and few others getting IV invoiced today is very good news!

I am a female lol but either way thanks :)

Hey Sukie,

I think your positive waves touched our file. We just now checked and the AOS fee column is N/A and greyed out. Too bad, we can't call NVC right away as we are out for dinner with our daughter and son-in-law visiting us from US.

Unfortunately signatures aren't visible in mobile version. That's y ppl like me who use cell phones forget to create signature lol! But I agree with u. It is time consuming to open everybody's timeline. Since some ppl dont bother updating the spreadsheet even.

Hi!

Actually you can view their signatures when you're using your mobile phone. You just have to click the "full version" at the bottom of this page. I'm using my mobile phone just to keep myself updated even when I'm not at home. :)

I'm still trying to learn though on how to create a signature. :)

@NLR yeah I received the email that my DS 261 was accepted and that now I am ready to pay IV fee. @ VNBCI130 Thank you : D I really have no idea but I did harass the hell out of them at the beginning when they received my case via email and phone lol.

That's good.

Be careful of harassing too much. They do record when you call and take notes. And as my husband has said, if they don't like it, they'll slow it down on purpose. He works for the government (and was in the Air Force for 8 years,) so I take his word for it.

DS-261 form is finally available for me to fill out!

However, I'm thinking about waiting until I receive the email from NVC just to be on the safe side.

Some people have reported here that they filled out the DS-261 form, but it doesn't show it's been filled out. :(

Maybe we shouldn't fill out the form too early? :help:

I filled mine out when I received the e-mail had no problems what so ever. :D

Just came back from IRS to get letters for every year 2011-12 and 13 that they didn't need to file taxes. OMG they were so nice I thought I was dreaming they gave me two originals of each. :D Nice day can't believe it.
