Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a false checklist - they're asking for the whole package and you've already emailed it in. When they get to that day's emails, they'll process it.

Exciting, though! You're getting there! Keep us posted when you find out that they've "received" your IV documents - it'll give those of us going the EP route an idea of what to expect!

I am on hold with NVC, I will keep all of you posted! :luv:

False checklist. Not asking for anything specific :).

Exactly what I was thinking, I am getting all excited!

If they don't invoice the IV fee, people can't get the barcode to send the IV package or fill out the DS-260, and therefore NVC can control the volume of documents it has to review :(

Do you know if there is a change when they receive your DS261 and AOS package?

Cause right now for my DS261, it's showing "completed", AOS showing Paid, and N/A... Will the N/A change after they receive it?

Sent AOS through EP on 5/20, called in 6/2...they said they haven't rec'd my AOS docs and it takes 30 days.........

This better be an oversight that they can fix immediately!!!!!

You've got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!! What else can they do to screw up with your life!!!!! Bunch of incompetent idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how sick and tired I am of this roller coaster DRAMA FILLED process. One minute I am happy, the next minutes sad, followed by pissed off.. Happy again.... etc., :protest:

I did talk to a supervisor when I called this afternoon. She said she would look into this and call me back.. Well folks... She did what she said she would do. She called me back at 3:55pm on my way home from work. She said sometimes they enter case complete and then it goes to a QC reviewer. Most likely for me because it was reviewed so many times and that incorrect email was sent to me.

Anyway, she told me it will be taken care of this evening and she will call me tomorrow morning around 8am to confirm. She suggested I request an expedite and gave me the email address for that. That was her suggestion, I didn't even think of that. So, I sent an email for an expedite and I will call back tonight to see if they fixed it. I will also wait for her call tomorrow morning because I have learned not to trust anything they say...

As for the mystery mail... she told me that every time they do a supervisor review, it shows up as mail received. I explained that I only asked for one review. She laughed and said yea, its been reviewed alot for that birth certificate.

So I am still technically CC'd but it is sitting on a QC desk for sign off. How eff'd up is this process????? I hope they respond to my expedite. I need to get the hell outta Dodge

and I don't know if this is good or bad but my husband's phone is messed up. He told me last night that the battery won't charge so he has to go into town and get a new one after work. So I feel lost without my " Good Morning Honey" whatsapp message in the morning and my lunch time message and my coffee break message. all this drama and I can't even call him :girlwerewolf2xn: but if they fix the whole thing, then I saved him the stress.

Their website needs to be updated if they can't process our cases within 30 days. On the CEAC portal it says:

"

After submitting the DS-260, mail all supporting documentation (as listed on the Documents The Applicant Must Submit web page) for each applicant to the NVC.

Once received, it will take the NVC 2 to 4 weeks to review your case. If any additional information is required after the review, the NVC will notify the applicant (or the applicant’s agent)."

Hello guys,

Through calling to NVC, I found out that they generated checklist for an error on AOS (I-864 form) and they explained me the error over the phone. However, I didn't get an email from them which will describe the checklist instruction. To save some time, I was thinking to send them back the corrected version of I-864 form including the cover sheet. My question to all of you is: Is there specific format to follow when we send them a response to checklist? I will appreciate if someone who passed through checklist process walk me through the contents of the checklist instruction letter. I also believe that the checklist instruction doesn't need to be sent back to them. Thanks a lot for your help!

just print out the bar code again and send the new AOS ( the whole thing) you don't need to wait for the checklist. I did the same thing... I was fine !

Ok, I am not lurking any longer. I need help people...We just got this email from NVC but I want to confirm if is a false checklist:

For electronic processing, all forms and documents that we request and require from you should be scanned and e-mailed to NVC as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The documents should be sent as attachments with your e-mail response and not in a web file. NVC is unable to process documents submitted in web files. Forms and documents should not be mailed through the postal service. The applicant must present all original forms and documents to the Consular officer at the visa interview. Failure to present the required originals at the visa interview will result in a denial or delay in obtaining a visa for the sponsored applicant. Any questions regarding your petition should continue to be directed to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

PLEASE NOTE: No interview will be scheduled until ALL of the information requested has been emailed to the National Visa Center.

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center received your DS-260 form. We are waiting for the traveling applicant’s supporting civil documents to be submitted to the NVC. Your online Immigrant Visa Application will be reviewed upon receipt of your supporting documentation.

To view which documents the applicant must submit to the NVC, please go to our website immigrantvisas.state.gov.

Thanks!

That's the same e-mail I got! It's false :-)

OK, folks. It's early morning June 5th here in Australia. Just for everybody's entertainment, my AOS fees changed to "N/A" last night (Australia time). So...after I eat breakfast (gotta have some energy to hold on for an hour), I am calling.

I am a May 9th checklist response submission - and I'm hoping like H@!! to have "Case Complete".

Watch this space.
