Very true! But when these guys get comfortable not doing too much all day, it's really hard for them to step up their game. They don't care about us.

AOS scanned on 8th May but IVy send last week on 30th May.Email did not say anything for AOS only says we are waiting for your civil document ?

I always liked to call around 8-9pm, when the phone lies died down (relatively speaking) and there wasn't really any possibility for their answer to change after I called. Made for some loooong days, though, and quiet ones here on the thread!

I like off topic comments.. it kind of sorts out the "OMG why is my case in process of termination" posts..

I actually just got out of a boring meeting... but of course I had VJ open on my other screen. ha ha

I just want to comment on how much I think it sucks that people have to wait a month before even getting a case number. It makes my stomach flip flop. They seriously need to overhaul this whole system. Would it kill them to assign a case number when it gets approved at the USCIS so when it arrives at the NVC things would go much smoother??? I understand not giving the case number to the applicants before it gets to the NVC but really? Their systems should be the same... Arrive at the NVC and the case number is already established and info is in the system. I guess that would eliminate jobs and we wouldn't want that.... GOODNESS... It just kills me to see everyone wait. I personally think the NVC is a wasted middleman step that is useless.

The whole system needs revamping. But with the USA, not sure how long that will take to sort out.

Anyone know what date they are working on right now? I believe they were at 5/8-5/9 yesterday? Can someone confirm?

Well they aren't on May 12th/13th yet for sure.. as of last night around 6pm EST!
