LOL! I told my husband the same thing last night! Now we have no idea what day they're working on now :-(

It also doesn't help that there's a rogue thread, which creates a gap in people's time of reference. Oh well.

I'm calling back on Friday to see if they've made it to the 16th yet - I'm hoping the Agent will let me know what day they're on!!

add 2 days to whatever day they rattle off. They told me the 6th and then I was CC'd after 3 pm that same day.

and remember ... they have 2 shifts who review documents. Day shift might be rattling off what they were told in the early morning.

Lucybelle was May 7th and was CC'd on Saturday the 31st. I was May 8th and CC'd on Monday the 2nd. Monday they were telling me they were working on the 6th. They are full of Doo-Doo. It is really better if they just say they don't know and we follow our own little spreadsheets.

I told my husband last night that nobody at the USCIS or NVC know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. I got all my "correct and accurate information " from VJ. Watching the trends is the best way to figure out the timelines...

And the other thing I'll request again is for people to make signatures, as it seems a lot of the recent additions to the thread have not done so... and it is REALLY helpful! I refer to them all the time. I rarely bother to open up someone's timeline, plus that doesn't indicate the nuances about when something was sent vs received nor when checklisting issues were received and dealt with.

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

I am in the same boat for my another case... :cry:

I just can not believe of the fact that they are letting everyone pay AOS fee but not the IV fee. How does that make sense? There is something real fishy going on there which they are not telling us.

I never realized the importance and value of a signature until I landed in this thread! I 100000000000% agree with you about that!

Hi again all! My AOS docs arrived at the NVC on May 28th, and my Civil docs arrived June 2nd. Any idea how soon I should see some updates?

Thanks and best of luck to all!

Expect around 3 weeks for them to review each package from the date NVC scanned it in (not the day your delivery was confirmed by FedEx/UPS/whomever). I'd probably call once or twice a week for the first two weeks, then more frequently as the third week starts.

No lie, I actually applied for a job at the local immigration office last night. If you can't beat 'em, INFILTRATE!

I am looking for a new job. I would SOOOOOOOO love a job with the government. I just applied for a job at the local IRS this morning. Its like 30 minutes closer than my current job. I would LOVEEEEEEE to change my job... I check the site every few days.

Actually a work-from-home position would be the ultimate !! ha ha dreaming again...

Unfortunately signatures aren't visible in mobile version. That's y ppl like me who use cell phones forget to create signature lol! But I agree with u. It is time consuming to open everybody's timeline. Since some ppl dont bother updating the spreadsheet even.

I believe they are trying to control the workload. What else could be the reason ?

I just talked to Alsa from NVC. She was so informative and super polite! :thumbs: I'm so glad Joy didn't answer my call! :rofl:

According to Alsa, they're now receiving more cases from USCIS, and that's causing the recent delays of filling out the DS-261 form, paying the AOS fee, and paying the IV fee. :bonk: I thought they were receiving fewer cases from USCIS compared to 2-3 months ago?

She also mentioned that they were aware of the website problem and are trying to get it fixed sooner. I asked her to report the IV fee problem to her manager since many people on VJ are dying to pay the IV fee. :clock:

Now, I hope to fill out the DS-261 form today. :no: Fingers crossed! :star:

Lol and we have already started to miss u ;) how long does it take for the waiver? It must be so frustrating to be again stuck for another process after going thru 2 hell holes already!
