Great! I'll just include my partner's 2013 tax transcript only to make is less confusing (and to reduce any possibilities of writing the wrong amount and getting a checklist)!

In this case, I'm writing "N/A" for the Tax Year and Total Income for the question 13b, 13b1, 13c, an d 13c1 on I-864 form since I'm not attaching the 2012 and 2011 tax transcripts?

Whether you include just one year or all three, you still need to fill out the numbers on the form. If you write N/A for 2012 and 2011, you'll get a checklist asking why you didn't file taxes.

I wrote "See Attached" for one of the years and attached a letter stating why I didnt file taxes and that income was below threshold that year and didn't get a checklist. So you don't need to "fill out the numbers on the form" ;)

btw so how often is it taking to receive interview email after it is assigned? frankly I'd prefer to never call nvc again if its less than a few days.

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!

Current Status: NVC:
-Assigned and Received NVC Case Number, IIN, and BIN April 18, 2014. (100% sure case # was assigned today because I called twice and it wasn't assigned in the morning when they opened but in the afternoon it was)
*Could not provide email then as case was still being updated in their system
-On April 21, 2014 I was able to provide my email and beneficiary's.
-On April 28 I was able to fill out DS-261
-On April 29 I received and paid AOS Fee (at 1pm)
-On May 1 I received and paid IV Fee (at 1pm [became available]), also AOS Fee shows as PAID
-On May 5 IV Fee shows as PAID and DS-260 became available and was completed. Also, AOS Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 7 IV Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 28 AOS Accepted

-On June 2 IV Accepted/Case Complete

-On June 11 Interview Email Received

-On July 3 Interview at Moscow

Note: Medical Exam scheduled after interview letter received by calling the specific clinic, earliest appointment was 2 weeks ahead)

-Visa approved, came to us, got greencard, sadly things didnt go well and divorced. Last I hears she was still in the US and got a full greencard (I notified USCIS of divorce though)

Hi guys, congrats on CC and to the others have hope, this week is The Week (positive thoughts).

I need your advise:

Got the e-mail yesterday and apparently my mother-in-law I-864a keeps giving us trouble (she has 2 jobs)

Checklist for I-864A (filed by PERRY, Mother in law )
NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and refer to page two for mailing instructions. Forms Missing or Incomplete
[x] If you have returned your original form to us, these are the items that are still incorrect or missing. If you need another form, please go to http://Travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4354.html to download a new form and complete instructions.
Part 1 Information on the Household Member
[x] PERRY, Mother in law income indicated on line 11 of the I-864A does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s).

And they want me to take it to the interview.

You should send any of the missing items to SANDRA ******* PERRY so he or she can take them to the visa interview. The
Consular Officer will review the missing items at the time of the interview.
Please pay special attention to any items related to the Affidavit of Support form. If the checklist shows any problems with the form, you should complete a new form and send it to SANDRA ******* PERRY.

The question is: Can we take her off the AOS, on this stage?

My Husband is moving into a new house, preparing my arrival to the states, so our future address is going to change, but we already know what is needed to do for the address changing.

And technically my mother-in-law, is not going to be part of our household anymore. We are keeping my brother-in-law in the household (as he is moving in with us) so both my husband and brother-in-law are above the poverty line and we also have a joint sponsor.

Will we have troubles if we just show another AOS, without my mother-in-law?

That's fine since you attached a letter explaining why you didn't file. I was saying that if you write $0 or N/A and not provide a letter stating why you didn't file taxes (which wasn't the case in the OP's case), then a checklist would be issued.

And there are plenty of signatures in the NVC threads as well as the interview thread by Dwheels, to study for how long the interview letter is taking.

Sure is. I can always help generate a load more off-topic banter

I always liked to call around 8-9pm, when the phone lies died down (relatively speaking) and there wasn't really any possibility for their answer to change after I called. Made for some loooong days, though, and quiet ones here on the thread!

It's really quiet here today!

I actually just got out of a boring meeting... but of course I had VJ open on my other screen. ha ha

I just want to comment on how much I think it sucks that people have to wait a month before even getting a case number. It makes my stomach flip flop. They seriously need to overhaul this whole system. Would it kill them to assign a case number when it gets approved at the USCIS so when it arrives at the NVC things would go much smoother??? I understand not giving the case number to the applicants before it gets to the NVC but really? Their systems should be the same... Arrive at the NVC and the case number is already established and info is in the system. I guess that would eliminate jobs and we wouldn't want that.... GOODNESS... It just kills me to see everyone wait. I personally think the NVC is a wasted middleman step that is useless.
