My incompetent lawyer wrote the wrong zip code on the AOS. It was received on 5/22 so now I'm expecting a checklist over a f*#king zip code. I hate this woman with a burning passion.

Don't panic just yet. I think there is a good chance they might overlook a small error like a wrong zip code.

I am getting a the 3-beep busy signal. It's 11 PM here on the East Coast. Am I calling the right #? 603-334-0700 is what I am calling. I call from my company's phone and my T-Mobile phone, no difference.

Ok I want to finish the final touches on the I-864 and a doubt came up about my past income... I have lived in Mexico for the past 11 years and I did file my taxes buuuut the total on my 1040s was a big fat 0 because I didn't make enough to have to pay us taxes and I tried to get my transcripts and they dont appear except last years and that's because I did work in the us for a few months soo what should I put for my income on 2011 & 2012? $0 or the amount I earned in Mexico?

I am not sure maybe others know better. I would guess that you just put what is on your 1040 and attach a note to explain why it is that number,

I'm trying to simplify my AOS package (to make it less confusing) because I'm including lots of documents to demonstrate the US domicile (we live in Canada). :wacko:

NVC only requires your tax transcript of the most recent tax year (2013) so I'm thinking about just including the 2013 tax transcript (not including the 2012 and 2011 tax transcripts). :idea:

It's not going to be a problem, is it? Just double checking. :help:

It should not be a prob, I sent only 2013 also and it got accepted. You should take all 3 years to the interview though, just in case.

I totally understand how you feel! Sometimes I wonder how these people passed their bar exams when they cannot copy 5 numbers from one sheet of paper to another! Our paralegal screwed up by rounding up the total income instead of putting it exactly as it was. We got checklisted for that. So they redid it and when my husband went to check, she'd rounded it up again on the new forms!

Hey Lakehouse - I was just saying that I'm going to make another trip to Vietnam. I just can't decide whether I could attend the interview with my wife or wait until she has gotten her visa and fly to Vietnam at that time so that she and I can fly back to the US together. hahahaha!

I can take 3 weeks off from work, and from what I've been seeing on people's timeline, it takes about 10 days to get visa. If I time this correctly, I can make the interview plus we can fly back together! What does everyone recommend?
