3) IRS taxes transcript from last year

4) A letter from my job stating that I am currently employed and how much I make plus when I started working.

I am excited and happy

My incompetent lawyer wrote the wrong zip code on the AOS. It was received on 5/22 so now I'm expecting a checklist over a f*#king zip code. I hate this woman with a burning passion.

Hi everyone. Allow me to introduce myself I am a US citizen in Australia applying for my husband. I have been following this Forum religiously and my husband thinks I am crazy and should relax. It makes me feel better to know there are others like me though! From what I have read, I have a couple more weeks of waiting (or more if I get a checklist). Congrats to everyone who are moving along! I feel like I know you. ha ha. I am not sure how to add a signature, but my timeline is below:

March 18^th – File received by NVC

April 28^th – AOS invoice received

April 28^th – DS-261 available and submitted

April 29^th – AOS invoice paid (by parents)

May 1^st – IV invoice received

May 2^nd – IV invoice paid (by parents)

May 2^nd - AOS shown as PAID

May 2^nd - AOS package posted to NVC (Express International)

May 4^th – Posted police check to Victoria Police

May 6^th – IV shown as PAID

May 6^th – Submitted DS-260

May 9^th – AOS package received at NVC (30 days = June 8^th)

May 14^th – Received police check

May 15^th – Posted civil documents (Express Courier)

May 22^nd – Civil documents received at NVC (30 days = June 21^st)

Jealous! LOL You got your case number a day before me.

I'm still waiting for the DS-261 form to be available. It's been 11 days since I got my case number.

What's going on?

Hey guys - I can't decide whether I should fly back to Vietnam for her interview or fly back to the US with her. I can take 3 weeks off from work, so depending on how long it takes from visa interview to visa delivered, I may be able to do both. What is everyone doing or would recommend?

If and when it ever happens to us my only option is to go to my husband a week or two before we come back together. You just never know what they will do as in put you in AP for what ever or no reason. Good luck to you not an easy decision.

Soloenta, have you paid the AOS invoice and/or sent in the AOS package? I'm just wondering because our NOA2 are the same date and you received your case number only 2 days before me so I'm trying to follow your timeline to see what to expect these next few days

Oh well yes paid the AOS two days ago but have to wait to send the papers from IRS, God willing will get them tomorrow then send them out. Remind me and I'll let you know when I send them. Hopefully by this weekend not sure having my nephew look them over first for mistakes.

Also much have a great Credit Union because they paid right away. They are also my friends so they must have known it was me and did it quickly. Something had to go right!

Doesn't look like a checklist to me. It seems more like a case complete. Am not an expert here, please correct me if am wrong.

Hey guys - after on hold for 45 mins I was told my case is completed!!! We are now waiting for an interview date, none in June. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to schedule interview date and what my next steps are?

Sorry but you might want to call. I called early morning last Tuesday and kept waiting for the magic email. Finally, after seeing everyone calling I called Friday afternoon and found out the interview had been set 3 days already! When I asked about the cc and il letters she said they were about a week behind on IL emails and I never received a CC letter.

Great, looks like I'll be calling tomorrow. Need to by airline tickets and hubby needs to schedule medical.

Here's a perfect example of why I feel it's so helpful for each of us to make a signature... then people won't have to ask questions about each individual case and we can all see it first-hand

It's much easier to study time-lines if signatures are visible AND the Spreadsheet that Saylin maintains is up-to-date with all of our information.

So a big shout-out to making signatures and updating the spreadsheet!

Okay so we have our *second* case complete for my husbanda yesterday after an NVC mistake and then just got a checklist that says this:

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The NVC has received the information you submitted and placed it in your case file. You will be

contacted when your petition is sent to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for further processing.

Looks like it correlates with that blip in your case, where it was CC, then not, now you're good to go!
