Do you think that NVC is working overtime on scheduling interviews or just on completing cases and reviewing paperwork?

Scheduling interviews doesn't involve much (compared to reviewing cases). They can only work with what they're given. If the embassies don't give the schedule and/or don't have enough room, then people aren't scheduled. There's really nothing to work overtime on when it comes to scheduling interviews.

So.... when should I be expecting an interview date? Is the consensus that we receive the email almost immediately after being assigned the date? Because if that is the case, I don't need to call them.

Sorry but you might want to call. I called early morning last Tuesday and kept waiting for the magic email. Finally, after seeing everyone calling I called Friday afternoon and found out the interview had been set 3 days already! When I asked about the cc and il letters she said they were about a week behind on IL emails and I never received a CC letter.

Sorry for bursting your wishful thinking bubble :P

And thanks! Absolutely love the car! I've said it before, but I'll say it again, the gas mileage is AMAZING. And if you do get one, you'll be the second I know that I've gotten to get a Prius. Where's my commission? :jest:

Anyone else having trouble trying to call the NVC? LOL I know it's early but you guys know me.

6am EST is the best time to reach them without hitting re-dial 8 billion times. After 10pm EST it gets easier, but get used to re-dial!

Quick question: :huh2:

I'm trying to simplify my AOS package (to make it less confusing) because I'm including lots of documents to demonstrate the US domicile (we live in Canada).

NVC only requires your tax transcript of the most recent tax year (2013) so I'm thinking about just including the 2013 tax transcript (not including the 2012 and 2011 tax transcripts).

It's not going to be a problem, is it? Just double checking. :help:

I only included my 2013 transcript and I didn't even give them 2012 or 2011 income and mine was approved no problem..
