Hello all! This is my first NVC thread -- just got my NOA2 today, much sooner than expected.

Congratulations, this was pretty fast. We are late July filers and got NAO2 on January 29th and now stuck at NVC due to checklist for a very small error. We are using Electronic Processing but some Canadian VJers who used snail mail are ahead of us. You may want to read Saylin's wiki and start getting paperwork ready. It may take a few weeks to get case and IIN number. All the best and hope you get a faster CC at NVC stage.

Question: is there any reason to call a week after NOA2? I mean, I guess it'd be nice to know it was received but it sounds like it might be less stressful to put the whole thing on the back burner for 2-3 weeks.

And hello to all on our 3rd NVC monthly thread... I'm not holding out too much hope on it being our last, after the screwup with our DS261 and no IV fee invoiced yet, and now this stupid backlog catching up with us again...

But with a great deal of luck, we may get through it pretty soon!

There's no such thing as productive workers.. You would think it would be easier to send e-mails within 2 minutes top to clients... no?

There's no real point calling yet. About two weeks from NOA2 you should call to see if they've received your case. If no, I'd call every couple of days until they confirmed it's received. When they do get it, you're cooling your heels again for another 2-3 weeks. Case numbers are usually issued around a month after NVC gets your case, so there's some down time to prepare paperwork and study the wiki

I agree and I'm about to need one very soon, I'm worried because he was following my timeline we are just a couple of days apart and he never came back. So I'm a bit worried why he didn't come back. Praying all is well.

June thread --- checking in. Never expected to be in June thread without having a CC. A small error leads to a long wait. Hope to have a case complete soon to have a July interview date.

we receive a checklist on 21 April, mistake in form of tax and we correct it and resend it back 22 April and call almost 3 times untill now and the same email and answer,we still working on your case allow us 20days,seems that 20days will never finish or i just not good at math

What?!?!? And your still waiting?? Omg this will be me.

You need to talk to them on Monday and find out what is going on. It'll be 30 business days as of Monday (if I counted correctly).

I remember when I first started in the NVC March thread there was so much positivity because they were moving quicker, with no backlog. And now it feels like the opposite.

But with the working "overtime", hopefully they will clear things up and everyone will start moving at a quicker pace again in no time.

What's the longest time anyone had been on AP? My husband has a us visa already but we want to have our wedding party in the us for my family but I'm so scared about AP. We've already had to move the date once. I moved it to April 2016 and I pray to God that's far enough out for him to get here. We've already sent out docs and were just waiting to hear if we got a checklist or cc. I'm praying super hard for a July interview.

It all depends how long someone is in AP can be a week or a year no one really knows you might want to do a search here on VJ, put in AP Morocco 2014, see what comes up. Here is an old link but it will give you an idea, do a search to find more information. Much luck your not alone all of us committing the sin of falling in love with an Arab man are going through this. Much luck and may God help us all.
