Hey guys - after on hold for 45 mins I was told my case is completed!!! We are now waiting for an interview date, none in June. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to schedule interview date and what my next steps are?

I just logged on to the site and both AOS and Civic Documents shows N/A and now AOS fee shows N/A even though my invoice shows as paid! What does this all mean???!

Yay! someone else who got CC after their AOS fee changed to N/A :) CONGRATS!

Case COMPLETE! ! Right now after waiting 1 hour. Thank you so much VJ family. Saylin you are the best. God bless you

Congratulations! :dancing: When did NVC scan your last package? :)

How long does it take to receive case complete email?

Saylin just mentioned this in post 799 above ;) Case complete email is typically received a week from your case complete date. But it doesn't contain any new information or anything required for the interview, so it's not an important part of the process.

You are right. Anything I did in April was on speed. Everything was invoiced within a few days. I think the fact that USCIS is now approving people quicker has backlogged NVC. They probably weren't expecting to receive such a crazy amount of approvals. May was a bad a month, but they seem to have people working overtime now. So maybe they'll catch up in June. There should be a change for sure.

People from 2014 got approved in 3-4 months! Its ridic.

Will see how June goes... I still dont understand whats preventing them from making AOS and IV available at the same time....

:bonk: You know you have VisaJourney/immigration on your brain when you accidentally put 'case completed' as a note for a task at work instead of 'task completed'. And of course there's no way to edit such note :help::lol:

This sucks! I sent my AOS yesterday and it was delivered this morning. Waiting for IV to be available.

Althought the wait 30 days is a generic response from NVC. Spreadsheet and some posts suggest 2-3 weeks for IV post May....

I am so unlucky. For i130, USCIS was backlogged, had to wait retarded amount compared to those who sent papers afterwards. And It seems starting May, they are backlogged at NVC. April was fine so whatever the hell happened in May to cause this delay!!!

Tell me about it, we are on the same boat...Applied I130 last October last year, USCIS was backlogged, then after few months i got transferred to TSC, then NBC sped up, TSC slowed down...Now NVC are backlogged...so lame!

this happened right after 5/10, cause when i checked spreadsheet, most of cases # assigned before 5/10, all got IV invoices right after AOS invoice...Mine was 5/13.... :clock::clock::clock:

After checking the CEAC website for over 100 times and getting the normal error message. The DS-261 suddenly became available after I checked again. Am skeptical about filling it out because have not received any email from NVC. I hope the DS-261 I want to fill now won't show incomplete after I receive email and instructions from NVC.

<p>Just called NVC and questioned about the EP!Their EP program had been changed since May 20, 2014(NVC hasn't update the new instruction to the change), you do not need to send the enrollment mail to NVC for the case number begin with MTL or GUZ. Sending the AOS/IV packet to NVC will automatic enroll in the EP program! For the people that are waiting for the EP confirmation(specially for the GUZ cases), they do not send out confirmation mail anymore, and no more GZO case number assign! Send the docs to them right away once the fee is paid!I should make the call in May, so not to wasted 2 weeks for the EP confirmation. >_

Thanks for posting this, that's great information!

Maybe I should close this VJ tab in my incognito window :P Although, if I don't keep up throughout the day, I'd come home to like hundred of emails, no joke.

Oh, and you can't make me! What else am I supposed to do while on a plane?! :P There's only so much Facebook I can check when I only have like 100 friends or so on there. And my Twitter feed is even shorter

Does anybody know how long a supervisor review takes ?

thanks

I think about 20 days. I guess I just got recieved false checklist which says they have received IV and AOS fees and I need to send us IV and AOS papers. I don't know if this is false check through or just procedural email? But I have send them both already.

Incidentally, the hubby and I will probably be driving through North Dakota this summer (we're actually driving from Vancouver to Newfoundland for a friend's wedding/belated honeymoon).

Well, we haven't actually submitted that yet, (waiting on a couple docs) but, yes, income is $0. Although we are both self employed, so while we will be doing the same work in the US, we have no guarantee of income, so we're just leaving it at $0 and have a joint sponsor.

Driving from Vancouver to Newfoundland!? :wow: Have you seen Corner Gas? I think you'll be driving lots of places like that. :D

OK! I'll put $0 for the income as well. Well, I'm still waiting for the email asking me to fill out the DS-261 form and pay the AOS fee. :bonk:

Do they assign interview date for you or is this something you have to call and ask? How long between case complete and interview date assigned?

Please read my wiki. I go over what happens after a case complete.

lol! I love my Kindle and Nintendo DS when I fly. Link and Mario are the best travel companions. You could add me on Facebook but I don't post much, so I wouldn't contribute much as far as entertainment goes, haha. There's the whole vast internet available to you, there's gotta be something at least as interesting as our NVC thread shenanigans ;)
