I just found out through WALDO ( old habits die hard... I had to call) Since I have an attorney, I won't get the interview letter or the Case Complete letter. They both go to him... That is disappointing Waldo said they are scheduling for July.. which I already knew DUHHH

pretty bummed I won't get the letters ( WAHHHH)

Funny how nice the operators are once you have a case complete...

Not true! I have an attorney also and got CC and P4 email the same day as she did.

Awesome !! Thanks ... I was hoping someone would squash that. I guess I feel better. Now I am hoping since its the first week of June, they will schedule an interview pretty fast. I am guessing there should be plenty of spots open for Costa Rica... not to Jinx myself or anything .

I called the Attorney's office and of course the lawyer is NEVER available. I had to talk to the office lackey... GRRRR he says, "congratulations, please let us know asap when you get an interview date" so in my head I'm like..." really?" I also asked for a fee adjustment since I did the whole NVC part myself. ( yes I have some b@lls) The only thing they did was send out an INCORRECT AOS. If I went at their pace, I'd still be waiting to pay the fees... :rofl:

London is always grey and rainy ;). The winters have been quite mild lately.. It didn't even snow this year! Typical British weather. We went back to Florida last Christmas for a month. It was probably about 4 C on Christmas day. It was lovely though :D. Wait until you get Christmas crackers on Christmas day ;).

Winter was brutal this year. We got a fair bit of snow (particularly for Boston; we normally get less on the coast than they do inland) and it was just bitter, biting cold all season long. Wind chills were around -20 C for a solid week. It varies a lot though, I remember one year I went to choose my Christmas tree wearing a t-shirt. I'm really interested to experience an English Christmas, complete with crackers and traditional fare... still trying to figure out exactly what a tree pressie is!

We decided that Christmas crackers will definitely stay a tradition, especially when we have kids. :). Don't eat Christmas pudding though... I don't know how people enjoy it.

Congrats on your Case #! Look on Saylin's spreadsheet to see how long you might need to wait. Usually it takes a week. NVC is backlogged, so they're delayed in sending the e-mails or "unlocking" the cases to fill out the DS261 and AOS fee.. No one REALLY knows when exactly you will get the actual invoice.. but just take a look at the spreadsheet to get an idea.. :) Best of luck!

yesterday i called nvc to get my IIN they kept me on hold for 20 minutes had a class so i had to leave.I called them today as well and they kept me on hold for 40 minutes.. this sucks :(

That chihuahua almost made me burst out laughing at my desk, fortunately I managed to turn it into a cough. Whew, saved.

I'm pleased to say I don't have a Boston accent! Oh gosh, my husband would never let me live it down, he already insists I can't pronounce anything. We could go for days debating how to pronounce "produce" :rolleyes: Boxing Day should be instituted in America, I think we'll have to carry over that as a tradition as well. But first: summer fun, starting with fireworks and BBQ on the 4th of July ^_^

NVC needs to start giving out good news again. I hope tonight's as excellent as yesterday night was!

Hey guys - after on hold for 45 mins I was told my case is completed!!! We are now waiting for an interview date, none in June. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to schedule interview date and what my next steps are?
