It's a date! If you and your husband ever find yourselves in Minneapolis, we'll have to go to Glam Doll donuts - they're AMAZING!!

And, there are quite a few anglophiles here and there's a local DJ here that LOVES Morrissey (I know that's up your hubby's alley lol)

"Up his alley" is an understatement. I think he would leave me for Morrissey, heterosexual or not  Morrissey is playing in Boston this week and we're missing it :( I would've loved to get us tickets, but timing just didn't work out. And of course the announced tour dates only go as far as June 21, so there's no chance for us to take a trip/follow Morrissey around the country for fun. I figure if he announces a UK tour we'll find an excuse to go back :) On a brighter note, one of my coworkers at my new company is an English guy and Arsenal fan! Easy in to the local British subculture, hehe ^_^

Hey all,

I sent my AOS package and Civil documents and they both arrived at the NVC last week. How long approximately should it be before I see a change from N/A to something else when I log into my Immigrant Visa site?

So happy for all the CC's! But the 15th is sure a long way from the 7th. I'm guessing they might get there next week. And you can bet I will be calling the embassy once i get an interview date and beg for it to be moved up!

LOL! Maybe Morrissey will cancel (as he's known to do hee hee hee) and then all's not lost! If he comes to the midwest - Chicago for some reason has a HUGE fan base, you should make the trip, assuming he's here!

Arsenal fans are everywhere!! There's a local Gooner pub here, Arsenal official shared a clip of our pub the moment Arsenal won the FA Cup! I'm in it :D (I should mention I wasn't an Arsenal fan before I met my husband, in fact the first thing he did when we became friends was recruit me - in retrospect I say he fancied me when we first met me and made sure I became an Arsenal fan  )

They managed to knock out 2 days' of packages yesterday. It's possible they'll make it to the 15th-16th by Friday... if they work on Saturday again, then Monday is a very real possibility! Don't forget to take out the weekends in your calculation, they don't accept mail on Saturday/Sunday :-D

Haha, that's very true. I'll happily drag my husband anywhere in the country if there's a concert date after he arrives. Getting on a plane WITH him instead of saying goodbye at the airport... It's going to be the most amazing feeling. This time between interview and POE is extremely rough on me for some reason, I've been struggling a lot, I just want him here so I can spoil him silly! I'm coming up with all kinds of activities and adventures for us this summer, and the poor guy is just trying to sort out his to-do list before he moves :innocent:

The last part of the waiting is half as long but feels twice as bad. Plane trips together, what a concept! I can't wait for that, either!!

I booked my ticket to England yesterday and my husband has already set up a going away gathering for all his mates and family. It's making me reminiscent about the last days of school, funny timing as this is the time of year for that, too! The case complete feels like graduation and the interview is the commencement ceremony LOL

Does anyone know that NVC had made change to the EP?

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/how-to-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html#GroupA

Group B: Choice of processing You can choose either Email processing (Group A above) or Mail processing (Group C below).

Important: Once you select a group, you must follow this processing method throughout the NVC process. You cannot switch groups later in the process..

Do we still need to send the Enroll email to nvcelectronic@state.gov anyone?

Thanks.

Hey guys - Still nothing here yet. I got a false checklist two weeks ago for the DS-230 documents. I just logged on to the site and both AOS and Civic Documents shows N/A and now AOS fee shows N/A even though my invoice shows as paid! What does this all mean???!
