I got both case numbers the same day they were received so call multiple times a day.. Once they search and see you have a K3 they will give you a case number for your I-130 and close the K3. GOOD LUCK !!! Read the wiki in the first post so you don't make silly mistakes and lose precious time !

What a meanie. I didn't get her name but the rudest person I have come across so far. Didn't take the email addresses. Just said 'I can not'. She said we r working on the case and it will be a couple days till u can give it. We wouldn't get anything on the website till we give over the email ids right?

They should already have the email address of the petitioner from USCIS. So, you should be fine.

Give it couple more days and call them again.

But if you have your case # and IIN, keep checking the website to find out when you can fill out DS261 and pay AoS fees.

All should be fine!!!!

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!

Current Status: NVC:
-Assigned and Received NVC Case Number, IIN, and BIN April 18, 2014. (100% sure case # was assigned today because I called twice and it wasn't assigned in the morning when they opened but in the afternoon it was)
*Could not provide email then as case was still being updated in their system
-On April 21, 2014 I was able to provide my email and beneficiary's.
-On April 28 I was able to fill out DS-261
-On April 29 I received and paid AOS Fee (at 1pm)
-On May 1 I received and paid IV Fee (at 1pm [became available]), also AOS Fee shows as PAID
-On May 5 IV Fee shows as PAID and DS-260 became available and was completed. Also, AOS Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 7 IV Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 28 AOS Accepted

-On June 2 IV Accepted/Case Complete

-On June 11 Interview Email Received

-On July 3 Interview at Moscow

Note: Medical Exam scheduled after interview letter received by calling the specific clinic, earliest appointment was 2 weeks ahead)

-Visa approved, came to us, got greencard, sadly things didnt go well and divorced. Last I hears she was still in the US and got a full greencard (I notified USCIS of divorce though)

What etrangais said, as long as you have the case number and IIN you can get into the website. I gave my email address via email, you only need case # to do that, or you can just do it over the phone next time you call.

I called this morning, only because I didn't get through last night. Mz Meg was helpful! I asked if I was getting a check list. She said "you ARE getting a check list, but not for the AOS. Those were accepted and approved". I told her my IV docs have been there since the 16th so now I can stop calling for a few days! Then I told her she made my week lol

Then I proceeded to dance in the kitchen in my jammies. Saylin! I couldn't have done this without your wiki for reals!!!!
