Hi grayfer

We have exactly the same timeline. I paid the 8th May and am still waiting for the IV invoice. This is absolutely crazy. I don't know there is anything we can do except just sit tight and wait. It is on my mind all day from the moment I wake up.

I see you are in New York. We will also be living in New York but upstate. We lived there for seven years but left in 2007 to come to Australia. Where abouts are you guys?

Misery loves company =(

We are both in Israel for the time being but will be moving to NYC as soon as this all gets sorted out. We made living/travel plans based on broad estimates of how long the NVC stage normally takes, but we didn't realize that it was an option for our IV fee to take this long to invoice, so I guess we'll just have to see how things play out.

I think the NVC is backlogged..hence why it's taking so long to invoice the IV.. They're trying to balance the workload, which I could understand, you don't want what happened at USCIS. At least they're working overtime, you can try calling and see if it will do anything?

I wouldn't eat them if they had been sitting in the sun for a few days, but just on the counter is fine. My mom has chickens and she, for the most part, leaves them in a little basket on the table.

Last night I couldn't sleep because I was worrying so bad that they weren't going to accept my marriage certificate. I couldn't get to sleep! Just tossing and turning!!

At least your husband will wake up to a wonderful message. In the mean time you can celebrate with us!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

My mother-in-law has chickens. We eat them the day they are laid !! and boy do they look and taste different than store bought in the US...

I was skeeved out by unrefrigerated eggs too, There are expiration dates on the egg cartons in the US . Maybe you don't have to refrigerate them but I don't think I would eat them otherwise. Gringa habits die hard :rofl:

jsumner86, on 03 Jun 2014 - 07:37 AM, said:snapback.png

If eggs are not put in the refrigerator, they are fine for quite a while. Once you refrigerate them they must STAY refrigerated.

That's why our grandmothers (in the US) kept the eggs in a basket on the counter.

Sukie

True, I researched before why the US have the eggs in the refrigerated part VS the UK on the shelves.. I think the US washes them off where the eggs loses something that protects the outer shell from what I can recall..!

Today is Changnoi's interview for his wife.. I hope it all goes well for them and we hear the good news from him!!

If they don't enter both at the same time into the system, usually the I-130 is put in the queue and has to wait. That was what happened to my case!!!!!!!!!!!!!
