So I think it is safe to say that when AOS changes from PAID to N/A that your case is complete because I just spoke to Ivette and she was like "We have reviewed your documents ma'am and everything is fine. Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!"

And then I yelled, "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!" ::insert dancing emojis with sunglasses which I have been saving for Case Complete and now can't use them because I am on a mobile device::

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez I would have thought you were right behind me no more than one to three days. I got my letter filled out DS-861 and paid the AOS fee. Hope you get that letter soon and wish I could have gone on vacation. :D At least you got some rest and fun. :)

So happy for all my L-girls out there - LoveMyTico, LucyBelle, and LifeOnHold!!! Congratulations!!! And all the others, too!!!!

I'm in Australia - so I cannot call until much later tonight (if I can stay awake that long!) - but I checked my CEAC page and both my AOS and Civil Documents say "N/A" at this point.

Now...my AOS has been complete for over a month now - it was the IV packet that was holding us up. So I don't know what to make of the N/As on our screen - but I will call as soon as they open (which will be 7 a.m. on Tuesday EDT US - and 9 p.m. Australian Eastern Time Tuesday night), and find out if we have good news too.

Praying that LindyStephan gets good news soon, too. Steve and I have been neck and neck since we got our Case Numbers....

Well, we haven't actually submitted that yet, (waiting on a couple docs) but, yes, income is $0. Although we are both self employed, so while we will be doing the same work in the US, we have no guarantee of income, so we're just leaving it at $0 and have a joint sponsor.

I have a question which I m pretty sure is covered in the wiki but I must have missed it inspite of reading it twice. So please don't get upset with me :) in filling out choice of agent form if me being the beneficiary is going to submit the IV package from Pakistan then would the agent be myself or can I still select husband as choice of agent? I just want to make sure that choice of agent means the person getting all the future correspondence or just in regard to IV package? Thankyou :)

You can choose whomever you want as agent. If you provided both emails to NVC, you both will receive all the updates, regardless of which of you is designated as the "agent".

Hey - which field are people using to estimate a Case Complete status with an "N/A"??? - the "Affidavit of Support Fee" or the "Affidavit of Support Documents and Financial Evidence"???

My Affidavit of Support Fee still said "PAID", but the Affidavit of Support Documents says "N/A"...

Have I gotten excited over the wrong thing? Both fees (AOS and IV) still say "PAID"....

You can choose whomever you want as agent. If you provided both emails to NVC, you both will receive all the updates, regardless of which of you is designated as the "agent".

Ok that's all I wanted to confirm that 'agent' doesn't refer to the person who sends the IV package. Thankyou :)

NVC received- 5-7-2014
