03-25-14 - NVC received case

04-24-14 - Case number and IIN received over the phone

05-02-14 - Paid AOS Fees

05-06-14 - Sent AOS package

05-07-14 - AOS Fees showed up as paid

05-08-14 - AOS package received at NVC (Scanned on may 8th)

05-08-14 - IV Bill showed up and paid

05-12-14 - Sent IV package overnight

05-13-14 - IV package received at NVC (Scanned on may 15th)

06-05-14 - AOS Checklist for not having N/A written for "Place of Residence" (checklist info received over the phone).

06-09-14 - AOS Checklist - I864EZ delivered today.

06-11-14 - I864EZ got scanned today.

06-13-14 - Sent original marriage and birth certificate out to NVC. (Received at NVC 06-16-14)

06-16-14 - received fake checklist asking for 864ez and marriage certificate

06-20-14 - Marriage and Birth certificate scanned

07-23-14 - Case complete (Talked to Don at NVC on 7/24) -- Received CC email 7/30

08-01-14 - Interview date assigned (Sept 9th)

08-05-14 - Received Interview Letter via email

Congrats ot Lifeonhold and others who received Case Complete.

Had issues calling today I dialed for 1 hour and after busy lines nonstop I got connected but it disconnected after 10 min waiting. Then after another hour of busy lines I finally got through and after 47 minutes got through. I have a feeling they are throtling even the phone lines lol

anyway got Case Complete as expected so yey. Hopefully all of us who got CC today are not too late for a July interview but idk its iffy

PS: I never got any N/A so I wouldn't rely on it. perhaps its because I did things right and didn't get checklist like a boss so I'd say definitely use it for a reference for the next few days but until more consistent responses come, I wouldn't add it to the wiki

Always double check your documents and forms. Not only do you get delayed by RFEs and Checklists, but the time it takes for them to review the new items you send could be used to approve more applications. Save yourself and others valuable time!

Current Status: NVC:
-Assigned and Received NVC Case Number, IIN, and BIN April 18, 2014. (100% sure case # was assigned today because I called twice and it wasn't assigned in the morning when they opened but in the afternoon it was)
*Could not provide email then as case was still being updated in their system
-On April 21, 2014 I was able to provide my email and beneficiary's.
-On April 28 I was able to fill out DS-261
-On April 29 I received and paid AOS Fee (at 1pm)
-On May 1 I received and paid IV Fee (at 1pm [became available]), also AOS Fee shows as PAID
-On May 5 IV Fee shows as PAID and DS-260 became available and was completed. Also, AOS Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 7 IV Package Scanned by NVC

-On May 28 AOS Accepted

-On June 2 IV Accepted/Case Complete

-On June 11 Interview Email Received

-On July 3 Interview at Moscow

Note: Medical Exam scheduled after interview letter received by calling the specific clinic, earliest appointment was 2 weeks ahead)

-Visa approved, came to us, got greencard, sadly things didnt go well and divorced. Last I hears she was still in the US and got a full greencard (I notified USCIS of divorce though)

2014/11/10 - Interview Scheduled

2014/12/23 - Interview - going to try to move up a week but we will see.

2014/12/2 - interview and APPROVED

2014/12/18 - Smooth and quick POE at LAX then onto JFK by domestic

So I think it is safe to say that when AOS changes from PAID to N/A that your case is complete because I just spoke to Ivette and she was like "We have reviewed your documents ma'am and everything is fine. Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!"

And then I yelled, "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!" ::insert dancing emojis with sunglasses which I have been saving for Case Complete and now can't use them because I am on a mobile device::

Thank you so much to all of you with your patience and well wishes. I will continue checking VJ and commenting to support the ones that have supported me.

Same here in CR, eggs not refrigerated. I was weirded out at first, but look it up! No reason to keep eggs in fridge! (We buy eggs at farmers market and then do put them in fridge, because of my gringa habits!!)

If eggs are not put in the refrigerator, they are fine for quite a while. Once you refrigerate them they must STAY refrigerated.

That's why our grandmothers (in the US) kept the eggs in a basket on the counter.

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

So happy for all my L-girls out there - LoveMyTico, LucyBelle, and LifeOnHold!!! Congratulations!!! And all the others, too!!!!

I'm in Australia - so I cannot call until much later tonight (if I can stay awake that long!) - but I checked my CEAC page and both my AOS and Civil Documents say "N/A" at this point.

Now...my AOS has been complete for over a month now - it was the IV packet that was holding us up. So I don't know what to make of the N/As on our screen - but I will call as soon as they open (which will be 7 a.m. on Tuesday EDT US - and 9 p.m. Australian Eastern Time Tuesday night), and find out if we have good news too.

Praying that LindyStephan gets good news soon, too. Steve and I have been neck and neck since we got our Case Numbers....

I've already tried and it didn't work, unfortunately. :no:

It looks like people who got their case numbers on May 22 received the emails asking them to fill out the DS-261 form and pay the AOS fee today. :)

I think I can expect to receive the email tomorrow since my case number was created on May 23. :yes:

I could have extended my vacation a little bit more since NVC turned out to be slower than I had expected. LOL! :rofl:

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez I would have thought you were right behind me no more than one to three days. I got my letter filled out DS-861 and paid the AOS fee. Hope you get that letter soon and wish I could have gone on vacation. :D At least you got some rest and fun. :)

My last piece of mail was dated May 8th incase people want to start calling tomorrow morning... watch he AOS fee that changes to N/A .I think it really does man something
