>Most of the people who filed in June along with us were being sent to Nebraska, which was treated on VisaJourney as something of a death sentence.

When I found out I got transferred to NSC, my heart stopped for at least a minute, and I began calling it "Neveraska" because it was barely moving!

I still can't believe how awful it was there. Nebraska was just a continuation of purgatory, and for some unfathomable reason, USCIS kept transferring petitions there when they were barely adjudicating! Just one of the many things that makes my blood boil about USCIS. Complete disaster. Much more colorful language would be needed to describe my true feelings :D

That's what we called NSC in the September thread, too! We referred to TSC as The Slow Center! *sigh*

TSC - The Slow Center? :wow: Love it!

As I recall, when I found out I got transferred to NSC, I went though the typical stages of grief - denial (No, it's a typo! USCIS meant to type CSC!), anger (Why me?), depression (Here goes my plan of moving to the US by spring! Grrrrr!), and acceptance (Whatever)!

Good afternoon, I just need some clarification

I call NVC this morning and the operator told me that my DS260 was accepted and that i was going to received an email(was scanned on may 27) but just moment ago i received an email but it was a checklist email asking me to resubmit the same documents. Is this a case of false checklist?

Thanks

Hi all,

Payment link for the AOS has become available last June 24 and I was able to pay it online. I'm now in the process of preparing the AOS package. Should I send the package once I've completed all the needed documents? or should I wait for a letter/list that will be coming from NVC?

Another question, I noticed that some people paid for the IV together with the AOS, but somehow I am not able to select the IV when trying to pay, is that normal?

Thanks

You won't receive anything helpful from NVC. So, if your documents are ready, then send them. Plus, no guarantee you'll even receive anything from NVC about the AOS package.

Those that got their bills invoiced together used a lawyer/attorney/legal representation.

Since there's been talk of blogs today, I'll add mine to the list. For most of the process I've kept a private journal, but my husband finally immigrates five days from now, and I decided to write up a detailed account of our entire visa process to share with family and friends. I've spent the whole week writing and editing it, so it's pretty long, but you lovely people on VisaJourney have cameos!

Its so nice reading your blog, its so touching. Thanks for sharing.
