You mean they being "USCIS" and not NVC right? I got my NOA2 on Sunday but i do not believe they work on Sundays. It must be a system glitch at their end.

Rumor has it that NVC works 24/7 (including Saturdays and Sundays) because that's what some NVC agents told us? :wow:

They're government employees, right? :huh:NVC is not 7-Eleven! I doubt if they work on weekends.

Thank you MoBar65

our lawyer sent out our docs to NVC and today he give me USPS tracking number and i check it that our docs delivered on 13th June.

He done all thing properly. We hope we will not get checklists.

I read some post that stated that right now NVC working on last week of May. So my question is what date I consider for my IV & AOS pkg

First you need to confirm that your documents are matched to your case (scanned) properly. Review countdown is roughly 30 days from each scan date, not from courier delivery date to NVC. That claim they didn't receive your docs needs to be resolved ASAP. Don't just rely on what your lawyer tells you when NVC says something different.

21-MAR-2014 I-140 + PP sent to USCIS

13-JUN-2014 IV Docs matched to case (scanned)

30-JUL-2014 Case Complete, CC email auto-sent one week later

20-AUG-2014 AOS fee changed to N/A (Final clearance for interview scheduling?)

29-AUG-2014 Consular Interview scheduled on Oct 1st. Later rescheduled to Sep 24th. P4 Letter received following business day

This probably shouldn't be my first reaction, but suddenly I really want a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.

Since there's been talk of blogs today, I'll add mine to the list. For most of the process I've kept a private journal, but my husband finally immigrates five days from now, and I decided to write up a detailed account of our entire visa process to share with family and friends. I've spent the whole week writing and editing it, so it's pretty long, but you lovely people on VisaJourney have cameos!

http://bostoncactus.wordpress.com/

>Most of the people who filed in June along with us were being sent to Nebraska, which was treated on VisaJourney as something of a death sentence.

When I found out I got transferred to NSC, my heart stopped for at least a minute, and I began calling it "Neveraska" because it was barely moving!

That's what we called NSC in the September thread, too! We referred to TSC as The Slow Center! *sigh*

Ok update to my NVC AOS drama...
Received my second checklist email today and then called NVC. Got a much more helpful supervisor this time. Apparently yesterday, I was my "old" AOS was being reviewed by a supervisor as I requested to be done over a month ago prior to submitting the new one. Today they said they have not reviewed my new AOS and it was scanned in on May 28th and they are still working on May 22 and 23. All in all, thank God, I do not have to resubmit another AOS as suggested yesterday.

Was told I should be having my new AOS reviewed by next week at the latest. WHEW!!!!

Hi all,

Payment link for the AOS has become available last June 24 and I was able to pay it online. I'm now in the process of preparing the AOS package. Should I send the package once I've completed all the needed documents? or should I wait for a letter/list that will be coming from NVC?

Another question, I noticed that some people paid for the IV together with the AOS, but somehow I am not able to select the IV when trying to pay, is that normal?

Thanks
