NVC remove the checklist today please...........? Need a good weekend .

(I called them last night, and spoke to a supervisor, she said that the other supervisor authorised the checklist to be removed, but it can take up to 30 business days for the department to remove the checklist, WTH!, But she said she couldn't promise anything and will look into it.. :/ 10 business days today..)

I swear I think they are testing us seeing how much we can take until we break and go balistic at some shopping mall. How difficult can it possibly be to get into the computer and remove it. She could have done it while talking to you OMG how FRUSTRATING! So sorry your going through this.

Sure they didn't link you up with the janitorial supervisor? Seems like it with all the crab he's throwing at you! WILL request a checklist removed! Request WILL take month to carry it out? If he doesn't have the authority to review and remedy unjust actions on the spot then he has no business wasting your time and misleading you.

Apparently the supervisors can approve for it to be removed, but can't do the action themselves. Therefore they send it back to the department with the instructions to remove it. I think the supervisor we spoke to left, because now when we call for her, it's "She's no longer available?" *Sigh*. I just hope it's done soon.. August interview needed .

I hear you! When my petition got approved end of March, my first thought after I calmed down was; "Wow! plenty of time to get the visas and have the kids start school from Day 1"

Now, they'll probably be starting school towards the end of September, provided no checklists/AP/further slowdown sidetrack our VJ.

Dumb question: how do we find out when our packets have been scanned? I have searched all over the CEAC site and haven't been able to find anything.

Also, it seems like someone at NVC entered my address incorrectly into their system, and it is spelled so wrong that there is no way any mail will be delivered to my actual address. What's the best way to fix this?

The only way to find out scan date is by calling NVC. Most people find their packages scanned in 2-4 business days. You won't get any physical mail from NVC, they send emails but might be worth a call to find out how to update it.

Call in or e-mail in your corrected address if you must. They won't use it anyway if they have your e-mail address.

What goes in the DS-260 is what matters, and that's totally under your control.
