Kids finished Term 2 today and I surprised them and took them out to lunch. Just got home and doing my daily VJ read.

Great to see so many CC. Looks like they are up to around 30th May although I am sure there are still folk before that who are waiting. I am a June 3rd so hopefully next week.

Five sleeps now before our family is reunited for our holiday in Queensland. I will be 'offline' from VJ for a week. Will have so much to catch up on when I return.

Let's hope for more good news tomorrow.

How exciting, it's almost holiday/reunion time for you!!! I was thinking of you yesterday when I saw an ad for the Whitsundays. What a beautiful place it is. I went to a wedding in Hamilton Island many years ago, it is just so lovely. Make sure you go to Whitehaven Beach, if you haven't been there before, it is amazing. The sand is so beautiful, they actually hose it off of you before you get on the boat. You are not allowed to take ANY sand home, it is protected.

Yes we are pretty much together on this. It is only my AOS. My IV docs were scanned on 20th June so hopefully some good news for both of us in July.

Yes can't wait for our holiday but, guess what, both kids have come home from school with colds!!

Soloenta, you have been plagued with problems throughout this entire process! Have you considered getting congress person involved? It's shocking that people wait as long as most of us have, but your case is really not fair. I see all these people from September I-130 filing getting their Case Completes, and, while I'm happy they get theirs all I want to do is shout "We filed in June, where's out Case Complete?" Then I realize you filed in March, not that USCIS or NVC will recognize that, but still. That's been 15 months.

Let's all start a petition to get Soloenta and all those who have waited over 12 months Case Complete now!!!

Your the kindest person thank you so much. I did go to Congresswoman's Napolitano's office and face to face spoke with them but nothing was ever done, called, e-mailed them and nothing. Then I called Barbara Boxer and one of her snots did send a letter which said I had to wait but Napolitano had me hanging for four months kept saying they were looking into it. It seems to be such a joke seems Immigration is above the law and more so the Embassy counselors and our lives are in their hands. Mommy and Daddy will decide our lives.

Thank you for understanding and I feel the same way as you do when I see filers from my second filing date the one USCIS changed it was heart breaking but what can we do.

Yes we have been there before. It is very beautiful. Went in September last time and sailed around the islands for 10 days but I think it may have been a bit warmer than now. Oh well we will still all have fun.

Of course typical - the children have come home from school today with colds. They are staying home next four days to get rid of them!

Let's hope we both get some good news in July.

Awwwww thank you, so many of us deserve CC like you, ColGil and so many more wouldn't it be nice to put everyone's name that have been waiting more than a year to get CC soon. They need to put us in a special category to speed us up.

Why use the DS 230 when you can use the DS 260?

Saylin, why not link the DS260 exemplar rather than the old DS230?

Just go to the website for the form and instructions, print it out and practice on that

You must put a '0' in there and include a written statement about why you didn't file taxes.

For the next question, there is no number 3 in Part 1. Part 1 is 1, 1.a. -> 1.f.

The Part 2 section on the immigrant is what carries over to the right side of the page, as per the I-864 instructions (linked in the response to the last quote).

ahh.. so you're now talking about someone's 864a - put 'see above' or rewrite the address in Part 1 #3.

And in our case, the person filing the 864a left number 12 blank completely without any issue.

I did see the DS-260 and I'll check with that one but the huge Sample across it is annoying and I'm prone to migraines but I'll have to deal with it. Thank you so much, your so kind.

Ok, I've been lurking here for a while now and I've never posted anything... but I just have to on this one because it boggles my mind.

Did he really tell you that the scan date is June 30th? Because that's next Monday.... how can that be possible...

That is exactly what I told Jeff, I said it's not the 30 Th yet and all he said was well that's what it says here hahahaaa OMG I had to laugh and just left it at that. I'll call again just didn't want to deal with him. He was nice but I figured he isn't working with all his brain cells and didn't want to push him over the edge. I'll call next week when they say my IV should be ready to pay. You just have to wonder sometimes where they find these people but at least he was nice.

IV fee status changed to paid, the DS-260 is now visible. I am going to fill it out right now. Will be sending IV documents tomorrow asap in the AM.

Sweet congratulations your last forms to fill out are ready for you how magnificent.

Since NVC is now closed for the day and nobody will be calling for several hours, I was thinking of a way to pass time. NVC remove the checklist today please...........? Need a good weekend .

(I called them last night, and spoke to a supervisor, she said that the other supervisor authorised the checklist to be removed, but it can take up to 30 business days for the department to remove the checklist, WTH!, But she said she couldn't promise anything and will look into it.. :/ 10 business days today..)
