So I think it is safe to say that when AOS changes from PAID to N/A that your case is complete because I just spoke to Ivette and she was like "We have reviewed your documents ma'am and everything is fine. Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!"

And then I yelled, "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!" ::insert dancing emojis with sunglasses which I have been saving for Case Complete and now can't use them because I am on a mobile device::

My mother-in-law has chickens. We eat them the day they are laid !! and boy do they look and taste different than store bought in the US...

I was skeeved out by unrefrigerated eggs too, There are expiration dates on the egg cartons in the US . Maybe you don't have to refrigerate them but I don't think I would eat them otherwise. Gringa habits die hard

I wouldn't eat them if they had been sitting in the sun for a few days, but just on the counter is fine. My mom has chickens and she, for the most part, leaves them in a little basket on the table.

Thanks!!! I'm glad I caved and called lol. Last night I had a horrible dream that they lost my packet!! So at least tonight I can sleep soundly lol.

I told my husband but he didn't respond. He must have been sleeping already. 5 hour difference.

Last night I couldn't sleep because I was worrying so bad that they weren't going to accept my marriage certificate. I couldn't get to sleep! Just tossing and turning!!

At least your husband will wake up to a wonderful message. In the mean time you can celebrate with us!!

I think you should write what was written, however if you want to ask in the process and procedure forum, or if you want, you can message pushbrk. He likely will answer either way. He is an absolute guru at the AOS forms (keep in mind he is a stickler for using exactly correct terminology.) I learn the most from reading his replies about the AOS forms and documentation.

You guys obviously have the letter from your husband's company showing that his job will be continuing in the USA, so you can put his current income at what it is, but put his past income at what shows on his tax transcripts so that you don't get a checklist unnecessarily.

If it says 'F', you don't need to worry, they didn't require that information.

To Austin who asked about income- my income was negative. Put that negative number and EXPLAIN IN COVERSHEET. I got check listed for income even though the number was RIGHT. I sent in THE EXACT same info with a letter explaining why it was negative and it got approved.

Ah, great info! I'll put the total income amount AS IS (even though $0 or a negative amount) and explain it in the cover letter! Thanks!

no update for me

but, i did get some information that could help someone out there. if there is enough information to close your case AND you still have pending mail, it's ok. if your case is still at NVC, it will be included in the case. if your case has left NVC, they mail it back to you

It's weird for me to think that I only have about two months left in this country!

This whole time all I've been focused on is getting stupid visa stuff finished. Now I'm like "holy #######! I could be leaving in just a little over a month!" Soooo much to get done!!!
