It could have been done sooner, the only reason I say the 20th is because I received an e-mail on the 20th stating this:

Then today at 1 in the AM I received an e-mail with PDF attached(P4 Letter) that was dated June 24th, 2014. Which Gave me info about the interview and what date it was. To be honest, caught me by surprise because I didn't expect to get it this quick. Not sure if it has to do with my PD being May 20, 2013. But I sure hope you get your interview date, I would be surprise if you don't get it it this week. Considering that we both got case complete the 20th.

To answer you other questions, I didn't call them a single time, through the whole process because I figured they would just BS me.

If you received a case complete email on the 20th, then your actual case complete date was likely the week before, around the 13th, since it takes about a week to receive the email. That would explain your "quick" interview date.

Although, it's not that uncommon to receive an interview date soon after case complete. It's all on timing (case complete date close to when interview dates get assigned)

Some updates

I calle nvc and was told I am getting a checklist for my aos

It's so stupid on my 13a1 I was suppose to put a zero and I put "didn't file" I can't get over the fact that I am getting checklist for such a thing. According to the rep "it's a legal contract and I suppose to put a zero. Should I ask for a supervisor and see I I can get that waived or change it when I bring an updated copy to the interview?

Another thing the rep told me is that I am getting a checklist for the ds-261 and I told her why she said she doesn't understand why and will put it for a supervisor because they already have it. I checked my email now and got a checklist for ds-261 that I need to fill it out

Question: when I am sending the correction for aos the bar code sheet is the one when I paid for the aos fee and what email do I send it to?

It's best to look over the spreadsheet Saylin has to get a better idea of how long you can be waiting for :).

Spoke to Gus, he's probably the best rep on the phone. Period. No supervisors were available, but he saw what we were talking about, and confirmed.. Said he would get a supervisor to look over it and see why it hasn't been removed yet. *Fingers crossed* it brings good news...:) I'd love to say those magical words...

For those that just got DS-261 checklists, here's my theory:

Your AOS packages were reviewed and accepted (call to confirm), so they issue false checklists for the IV track. Before this 30-day fiasco for IV bills taking so long to invoice, most people received false checklists for the DS-260/IV package when their AOS packages are reviewed. But since there's such a bigger gap now between the two tracks, when NVC gets to the AOS package, you're still waiting on the IV bill to be invoiced. So, they don't checklist you for the DS-260/IV package, but rather the DS-261, since that's the latest IV step for you.

Hope that makes sense!

I got the checklist for the ds261 as well last week...called and said it was already completed and they said it was just a reminder to complete it...doesn't make sense but hey ho ....what does in this organization? Still no IV invoice due to resetting my DS261 from May 9 the to May 28th! Hopefully by Monday I will be able to pay!

Will the next 30 day wait period start when you pay the IV invoice or when they received the civil documents?
