OK! I guess I'm putting "$0.00" on the I-864 form even though he is continuing with his job. :star:

I just noticed that my partner's 2012 tax transcript shows the negative amount of "$ - #0,451.00" at "Total Income". Maybe the amount went over the maximum tax treaty amount? His 2013 and 2011 tax transcripts show "$0.00" at "Total Income". Should I put this negative amount or "$0.00" on the I-864 form for 2012? :huh2:

I think you should write what was written, however if you want to ask in the process and procedure forum, or if you want, you can message pushbrk. He likely will answer either way. He is an absolute guru at the AOS forms (keep in mind he is a stickler for using exactly correct terminology.) I learn the most from reading his replies about the AOS forms and documentation.

You guys obviously have the letter from your husband's company showing that his job will be continuing in the USA, so you can put his current income at what it is, but put his past income at what shows on his tax transcripts so that you don't get a checklist unnecessarily.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  - Dr. Seuss

So I think it is safe to say that when AOS changes from PAID to N/A that your case is complete because I just spoke to Ivette and she was like "We have reviewed your documents ma'am and everything is fine. Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!"

And then I yelled, "FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!" ::insert dancing emojis with sunglasses which I have been saving for Case Complete and now can't use them because I am on a mobile device::

Thank you so much to all of you with your patience and well wishes. I will continue checking VJ and commenting to support the ones that have supported me.

so happy you fell to peer pressure!!!!! Congrats!

To Austin who asked about income- my income was negative. Put that negative number and EXPLAIN IN COVERSHEET. I got check listed for income even though the number was RIGHT. I sent in THE EXACT same info with a letter explaining why it was negative and it got approved.

I originally sent in certified copy + photocopy. With checklist I sent just certified copy with post it note (indicating CERTIFIED) and cover letter (affirming certified copy and instructions to call county with questions)

My AOS is N/A and I had CC today.

Wonder if it is correlated? Who knows... We're always scraping for some sort of hint!! :)

I think it has to do with CC . Congrats again

I am so frustrated. I tried filling my taxes online and I could not, because it wanted certain numbers for my husband. So my mom talked to her tax lady about it and she said it was no problem. So I made an appointment with her and explained everything to her. She said yep that is no problem. So I sat down with her as she filled out my taxes, and I saw her mark married filling separately. Now that I need to send AOS package I am making copies of my 1040 and I see it says SINGLE!! THE ANGER I HAVE RIGHT NOW. Trying to calm down and hoping this doesnt make a problem for me. My mom is saying I might be ok, because we were married after June. I was hoping anyone could shed some light on this and if any of you filled single and if it caused any problems for you!

HELP PLZ!

Literally the SAME thing happened to me. Unfortunately, it is a problem. If you were married for any part of the 2013 Tax Year, you need to be filed as either Married Filing Separately or Married Filing Jointly. I was married in July.

I had to have my 1040 Amended, then you will need to send in EVERYTHING that was filed with your 1040.

I could really use some help guys.

If it says 'F', you don't need to worry, they didn't require that information.:P

You get 50/50 of who love the food, and who are scared of it ;). My wife thinks it's strange how the eggs are never in the refrigerated part of the store.. They just stock it on the shelves.. I never noticed the fruit being so shiny in the shops there.. :).

Say WHAT?:huh::huh: I...'...m.....confused! I'm reeling with questions on how they manage that... injected preservatives?

In case you are in a devil mode, good thing i have your wiki saved for offline reading.. haha :P

lol, so did I!! it's a desktop icon
