Here's a question...

My spouse will get a Conditional 2-year green card, as we've only been married a year and a half (darn it!). When she does ROC in two years, will she get a 10-year green card, or one with just 8 years of validity left?

To prove US citizenship, we are sending a copy of his naturalization papers and a copy of the biographical pages of his passport. Do you think only the biographical pages are enough or should we send copies of EVERY page?

My dad is a joint sponsor in my case. I only submitted the details of his front page of his passport to show his US citizenship & never got checklisted for it.

Remember, you are showing his US citizenship/ residency status not showing his travel record.

If his domicile country is not the United States then they won't accept him to be a joint sponsor. Hope it helps!

Congrats! My date processing is coming close I just hope no to get checklist. Does the AOS fee changes to N/A on invoice tab or receipt tab or both? It also shows IV fee, will that continue to show 'PAID"? This is far better way to check than call!

It's perfect you can't do any better than that. I sent my father's citizenship certificate copy that is. They only require the biographical pages but if you want to send them all why not.

I'm guessing you will get a checklist. Even my wife's case # begins with BMB.

She will require a PCC from the passport office as well as regional PCC which is issued by the local municipality if her residence is outside of Mumbai. So make sure you get both PCC's as they are required at the time of the interview.

Just wait. You'll get a checklist if you don't include the PCC and since it's currently taking 30 days to review things, 15 days is shorter than 30 days
