Called NVC on the 12th of June and been told that they mail out the intruction letter???? on the 11th of Jun...till have not receive any mail; check my status online and get this message "

Not every country is eligible for Electronic Processing. If you are eligible, from what I'm reading on this thread, it (surprisingly) takes longer than snail mail!

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

It's been two weeks since I completed my DS-261 online form and paid my AOS fee, yet still no IV fee has been invoiced. How long is it supposed to take? Did I miss something?

I want to send both packages AOS and IV together at the same time. Any advice or guidance?

03/28/2014 - I-130 mailed to Chicago Lockbox

04/07/2014 - USCIS Received I-130 form

04/08/2014 - I-130 NOA1 and transferred to California Service Center (email) (11 days)

04/17/2014 - Received NOA1 in the mail from California Service Center (hardcopy) (8 days)

04/24/2014 - I-130 Approved NOA2 (case number updated on the website 4:50pm) (17 days)

05/20/2014 - Received NOA2 in the mail from California Service Center (hardcopy) (27 days)

Medical - Scheduled for Dec 16th 2014

Interview

12/3/2014 - Email received with interview appointment for December 9th 2014

12/9/2014 - Interview went well but not approved because of birth certificate name change. Approval after fingerprint police form.

12/30/2014 - Medical and police check sent to embassy

Visa issued Jan 5th 2015 :D

5.5 months in NVC

8.5 months total

A quick observation

I have been reading on the furum that when the AOS and IV fees changes from PAID to N/A, CC is mostly around the counter.

I have also the N/A under document missing the underline but in my case The IV doc N/A still have it. I have gotten an AOS checklist and sent it to NVC.

I making the assumption maybe that they accepted my AOS and the IV still undr review since it was scanned on 5/27.

Can someone corraborate? i maybe wrong also.

I my case was received by the NVC 11 June. Anyone care to hazard a guess when I will be getting my case #? My guess is between the 7th and the 11th of July--damn 4th of July holiday :ranting:

from the same service center VSC. NVC received on june 11 as well. just called today SSDD. it can take up to 30 days to get it into the system that is their claim to fame. and yet the waiting game continues. good luck brother.

It's irregardless in your case as the Netherlands isn't eligible for EP. You can ONLY snail mail packages.

It would have been better if you had submitted the AOS package as soon as you filled DS-261 and paid the AOS fee. It would have saved you several weeks because NVC is taking so long to review packages. Just my 2 cents....
