Same here wish it was me, my timeline doesn't actually reflect how long we've been waiting since USCIS decided to change our date from March 1 to June 24 Th due to their own stupid mistake. But I would give up all the fun ( ) we have had all this time waiting at USCIS and here for a fast run to be first in line. Would be thrilled to death.

You can, but if your experience is anything like mine was with USCIS, you will wait on hold for 2 hours and then get someone who is really short with you and quite unhelpful! I would just keep calling NVC - much easier to get through and for the most part they are quite pleasant to deal with. Unless you get Joy or Arthur - they are a different story!!

Mine was at TSC as well, and my signature indicates how long it took (since I don't recall off the top of my head anymore ) but it was nearly a month.

Don't pay the AOS until your wife also has an NVC case number and is joined up with your daughter's. this way you're making sure you are only paying it once.

I thought about that , but then again i might be able to expedite wife's case if daughters case moves along , plus i don't know what might come up at NVC on each case . The last thing i am worried about is 88 $ . Not that i don't need it . Just saying.

I got my case number exactly one week ago and I also still cannot fill out the DS-261. It says that my case is not eligible for further processing at this time. I guess they are just being slow lately. I will try again later today.

I got my Case Number June 19, 2014 Then I Submitted my DS-261 online Yesterday .

I suspect those people got their case number not by calling, but rather in the email from NVC, which arrives about when the ds261 is ready to fill out.

I my case was received by the NVC 11 June. Anyone care to hazard a guess when I will be getting my case #? My guess is between the 7th and the 11th of July--damn 4th of July holiday

I think I've seen a recent post where someone got his numbers in around two weeks.

From others filing for Pakistan I'm sorry to say that the wait for an interview is longer than Egypt which is from 6 to 8 months you might want to do a search here at VJ. Interview wait Pakistan June 2014. Good luck.

You sure about this? I started a thread and people coming in for Egypt filers stated it was from 6 to 8 then recently from 4 to 6 so an improvement but not a great one. Where did you see this please?
