Thank you sweet heart I really appreciate that, not sure you will have such a long wait but I know I will. All we can do is pray and try even if we fail to be positive, it's not always easy and I fail a lot. Will be praying your wait wont be very long at all.

​I am not always positive either I try to be.. me and hubby both close to middle age lol so I don't think they would hold him I saw your time line.. mine was 2009 met him from his family here, 2012 we did k1 and I could not do a co-sponsor so its round 2 for us grrrrr So am praying out of all this time we can move forward.. and thank you for the prayers

For me the USCIS page showed that our case had shipped, but when I called them I discovered it didn't actually ship until a week later. That site is so misleading... I think they update it to 'Shipped' once they put it in the pile for shipping.

Our case took a week from NOA2 to the status changing to 'Shipped', and then 2 weeks from the date of shipping to the date NVC confirmed receipt. Unless the mail goes via horse and buggie from Nebraska to New Hampshire, there is no way it actually shipped when they told me it did...

Just keep calling, it'll get there eventually

Aw thanks for the info? so can we call uscis instead to confirm if tsc really has shipped our case to nvc? This whole process is taking sooooo looooong???

You married in 2009, so two years before me I think for most cases they shouldn't hold them but who knows. I give up trying to figure what the heck can be on their minds. Your very welcome and I'm sure this time around will be it and soon you can live your life without mommy and daddy's blessing to worry about. God willing we all can. , this is just killing me.

You can, but if your experience is anything like mine was with USCIS, you will wait on hold for 2 hours and then get someone who is really short with you and quite unhelpful! I would just keep calling NVC - much easier to get through and for the most part they are quite pleasant to deal with. Unless you get Joy or Arthur - they are a different story!!

Mine was at TSC as well, and my signature indicates how long it took (since I don't recall off the top of my head anymore ) but it was nearly a month.

I am so sorry for probably a stupid obvious question but i cant seem to figure this out. Some of the forms from nvc have alien registration number and i am really not sure what mine is or if i even have one yet. i have tried searching but i must not be searching for the answer right. If anyone could help i would greaty appreciate it so nervous about making mistakes on these dang paapers and making this nightmare process take even longer.

If you click on your username on the top right hand corner of the screen and select 'My Profile', then under your profile picture select 'Edit my Profile'. You can fill your timeline in in the 'Signature' tab on the left hand side of the screen

Unless you have an alien registration number before doing the I-130 process, you likely won't have one until the visa is issued. To find out if you have one, it'd be listed on your NOA2, in the beneficiary box, above the name. That's where mine was listed (I had one assigned to me the first time I got denied, at the airport). If there's nothing there, then you don't have one.

You would have one if you've been living and working in the US in the past. If you were, you'll see it in your visa stamp(s) among other places. F and J holders don't get A#. At least, I never did.

The time I got denied at the airport, that officer was actually extremely nice. He was just doing his job. I was naive then (before I found VJ) and without knowing it, I was planning on doing something illegal, so of course he denied me. Still not sure why he created an A number for me, but whatever. Didn't hurt my case at all.

Now, the second time I got denied, at the land border, now THAT officer was a real ####### as I was doing everything legal that time
