Dear GOD, we are complete after so many months, done, whew, hubby just called and he got grumpy Arthur, that guy was really an as****e on my hubby i was listening to them and my hubby put him down with:

"YES, CASE COMPLETED? OK! That's what I needed to hear"

Guys, thanks for all advices and just - try to hang in there even if very tough.

Yes our case changed today from PAID into N/A.

Your AOS checklist is getting removed right? In that case, you are going by May 20th scan date. Singer was told earlier that they are working on 20th today!!!! FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU! Keep refreshing CEAC for N/A if you can't get to a phone right now

Congrats! What did you request expedited interview? I had requested expedited processing earlier but they rejected it.

Thank you ! My husband requested an expedite because of Venezuela's ongoing violent political protests and insecurity (Venezuela currently has the second highest murder rate in the world ). He wrote to NVC saying that he was worried about my safety, they responded and transferred the request to the embassy... Then, the embassy approved the expedited interview. Supposedly, NVC will send my file to the embassy soon. My status is still "At NVC", though.

You can check all the dates on my signature, my NOA2 date is March 21st, it arrived to NVC on May 31st, got case# on April 29th and completed on June 18th.

I just want to hear those words... "Case Complete" today... Would be nice.. I could then get excited about things without feeling depressed .

i'm 20th too.

was told this morning to call again around July 2nd, 3rd i know that they are working on 20th now, 2 people got their cases complete.

I'm sure that both of you will have your 'case complete' very soon!!! Good luck!!!!!!

I called on Monday and Amanda said the same thing ("call on the first week of July"), guess what I called two days later and my case was completed

Actually, it's probably because it takes more time for NVC to issue a checklist now. In that case, it's not good news.

Note: Failure to use this cover sheet will delay your visa. Use this cover sheet only below.

The voice when you're on hold with the NVC.. that goes:

"All our representatives are still busy assisting other callers...Please remain on the line as the next representative will be with you shortly, your patience is greatly appreciated"

Do you think it's a man or a woman? I think it's a woman, but my wife says it's a man.

From what I understand, you received a false checklist because your AOS was approved. That cover sheet you're talking about is for sending a checklist item they are requesting with that sheet attached on top. Since you already sent the IV package (I am assuming?), then it does not apply to you.

yes it looks exactly like that...people were discussing a couple of days ago if they should send their IV documents using the AOS cover sheet....from this checklist it seems like it would b a good idea to wait for IV to be invoiced and then send in IV documents with IV coversheet

Well, personally, I would wait until I paid the IV, but it doesn't appear that you got a checklist for doing that. Your checklist is false and you do not need to send the IV package again. To be 100% sure, I would call NVC and make sure they received your documents unless you've done that already and have a "scanned date". (Saw your timeline and you already have a scanned date.) No worries! Now just wait for a Case Complete! Yours should be around July 3rd since they've been consistent with the 30 calendar days.

I just got off the phone with NVC.

CASE COMPLETE Today

Now I have read they are working on May's mail. Our second set of corrected papers were delivered May 21st. We got a letter from NVC dated May 20th stating they needed the documents. Now I am wondering if the papers we sent June 10th were not needed. Most important is case complete are they are waiting for interview to be scheduled.

Hopefully I am two days behind you- your AOS checklist scanned 5/20th mine was 5/22.

I am going insane waiting.. NEVER did I ever think it could have possibly taken this long--

but it has.

great news for you--- soon you will have your interview date- THAT is my next BIG milestone in my mind.. then I may be able to try to make some PLANS for the future.
