NVC Filers - June 2014

Ok.. so here is something that has me stumbed!!

I have case complete as of May 22nd and interview was assigned yesterday.

So i log on to ceac to print out the receipts for the IV and AOS payments to start assembling my docs that I will be taking at the interview and all of sudden on the summary page it shows N/A under AOS payment. So I click on it and it shows that AOS payments is rejected!!

AOS was paid on Apr 7th, was showing 'In Process' for 5 days and then changed to paid. And stayed at paid the entire time.

Now all of a sudden payment is rejected?!

What the HELL!???

My Husband is so pissed . why the NVC its so hard to contact ????

we keep calling and calling but is always busy . what is the best hour or how. its been 3 weeks now? or wait till 30 days ?

You have to get your finger ready to press redial several times. Sometimes I get through on the first try, other times I have to hit redial 25 times. And once you get through, you are on hold. My shortest hold time was 18 minutes and longest was like an hour and 5 minutes.

ugh...here we go again...I have a love/hate relationship with this june thread. lol

Whoppie Dooo.... June! (Note sarcastic tone). I was totally convinced hubby would have a June interview and now I'm not even sure it will be a July one.

Hoping this month brings a lot of joy, happiness, and the ability to make plans for many of you. I know there are a lot that have their interviews in June as well and I hope they check back and let us know how it went.

Don't think I'll be calling so soon this up and coming week. It's going to be a crazy week for me. And I honestly can't take the disappointment anymore. Wouldn't it be funny if I got an interview email before even knowing I had Case Complete? #keepdreaming

hm, I don't know how to make a thumbnail pic like that to show you, but perhaps when you clicked on n/a it did something? Considering folks were running into trouble whenever they clicked on something ... take the DS261 for example! which has led to people getting delays if they resubmitted it... I haven't dared click on anything on my screens.

On the receipt page, both fees say paid.

On the other link, https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx ->my AOS fee and document boxes both show n/a.... I ain't gonna touch dat!!

and my civil documents box also shows n/a.

With a case complete under my arm, nothing will convince me that I need to worry.

With YOUR case completed, there just cannot be any way that's an issue, as the fees were already withdrawn from your account etc. If you're nervous enough about it, you could call NVC, but I really can't believe you need to. The new system clearly doesn't have any kinks worked out yet, and clicking on anything is a bit like they've set BAIT to mess with people!

been waiting for our case number, will be 2 months on the 10th of June and until now, still waiting.my hubby and I already sent an email and they just told us that they have the record of our case..and advised to send the scanned copy of our NOA2, so I did, but haven't got any reply also..

And you are probably right, its most likely a system clitch of theirs. Even on my IL it shows fees as paid. Just wish it was a week day so I can call and confirm this.

My thoughts almost exactly... I keep telling my wife- I will have a DATE in 2 weeks-- IF I just had a DATE of the interview that would take so much stress off- and get us working on the medical stuff-- just waiting is excruciating. -- I feel so helpless-- my checklist arrived on the 19th-- but didn't get scanned until the 22nd and there is absolutely nothing I can do to speed up the process- I know when they look at it it will be DONE. then another two weeks to get an interview date-- I HATE to admit it but it looks like August for an interview -- and I haven't even told my wife that yet.. I was holding out for late June early July -- that ridiculous error caused the checklist.. I KICK myself every day-- but we only do our best--- its NOT like I didn't understand- the other case went through with NO CHECKLISTS ever..... frustrating does not even BEGIN to describe the feelings-- I feel the same way-- just wait- don't call, don't read about it think about it nothing.. I think that is impossible- I probably will just call every OTHER day...for the next week.. good luck to you..
