Now that we are on the subject of who is working there, does everyone think it's ok to send copies of bank statements/credit card statements with my full account numbers on them (sending these to show my US domicile, as I am currently living abroad)? I know they will already have my social security number in their hands but I am just wondering what other people did in this situation. Thank you. :)

Sooooo :sleepy:

The NVC today, 19th of June, has reached cases scanned on the 20th of May

On the 13th of June, a nice woman told me that the NVC is working on the 12th of May scanned cases (on the hush hush side) :secret:

That means in 6 calendar days the NVC finished worth 8 days of scanned cases/packages

A rate of 1.3 days of scanned packages every calendar day

My case was scanned on the 2nd of June. :sleepy:

That means I have 12 more days of scanned packages

If they continue with the same rate

They will reach my case date in 9 days from today :luv:

Did any one get case complete lately to complete this "WILD HYPOTHESIS" :content:

Anyway ... Lets wait and see :clock:

I hope your hypothesis is correct! It would be lovely to see them getting through more than one day of scanned packages every calendar day! I have yet to call to see if my checklist package received on 16th June has been scanned in. So, I am not sure when to start my countdown…...

Lovely! I'm hoping so. We went to be out of the UK by Sep 2nd!

Not a bad idea Observatorka, I could meet the popular Saylin!

Well, my trip is Sept 13-20, so that's after your predicted timeline ;)

And hehe ^_^

guys,

what can happen if aos form is partially handwritten and partially printed, just found that my joint sponsor handwrote province and postal code of mine, after he printed the form. :( :( :(

if i will get another checklist i'm gonna cry .............

That's fine as long as it's legible, like another member said.

More :ot: , are you getting hit with non-stop rain in Fargo? We're having flash floods at the moment. I think I'll need to swim to work tomorrow!

[...]

No rain yet, but it's looking dark outside. It rained a bit last night and must have rained a bit this morning as well since when I went out to my car, parts of the road and sidewalk were wet. It's been pretty dreary here the past week (tons of rain over the weekend), so hoping to see the sun soon!

Don't forget, you're counting the weekend in May where they don't receive mail, so it's actually 6 days of mail they went through in 6 days ;) Sorry to burst your bubble and calculations :P

<< prev 5, 6, 7, 8, next >>

<< will take you to the first page

prev will take you back one page

the numbers will take you directly to that page

next will take you to the next page

You should also see on the top (right hand side) an option to go the "first unread post". This makes it easier to pick up from where you left off if you like to read through all the posts.

So how long is it taking to get an interview letter these days? Anybody know an average off the top of their head?

It depends on when you get your case complete. Your best bet is to go to the interview thread and check out dwheels' spreadsheet to see example timelines from people who've gone through your embassy. For most people it shouldn't be more than a month to get from case complete to receiving an interview letter.

ROC Timeline

I mixed handwriting and typed print and it was fine. My husband has two middle names and they wouldn't fit if typed, but I didn't want the bother with a continuation sheet, so I just neatly hand wrote them in black ink. A-ok

I have a question that I forgot to post in here.

I HAD asked a friend of mine some questions because she already went through this process a couple of years ago.

AND OH MY GOD, I MADE A MISTAKE when I did my I-864 in the part that a lot of people seem to get confuse.

Where it says do not count anyone twice put 1 or 0.

I PUT 1 in the part where it says WHO THIS AFFIDAVIT DOES NOT APPLY TO, put 1 if you are currently married. I SHOULD HAD PUT 0 since I already counted my husband already! MY FRIEND TOLD ME TO PUT 1, I told her how is it possible when is saying it does not apply to and from the previous information it asked how many people are you sponsoring in this affidavit and I had PUT 1 referring to my husband already. She said no no no you have to put 1 there because you are married blahblahblah. Since she brought her hubby here years ago and works with attorneys instead of listening to myself, I listened to her. I feel so dumb now and that is the only mistake I MADE. Should I send them a revised copy of the I-864 ASAP before they send me a checklist and then I have to wait another month because of that small mistake?
