Oh my god really @alejandreska ? So all we have to wait is for our IV package to be reviewed they were scanned on the 22nd of may. Im sooo happy so glad we didnt get any checklist for AOS haha. Thank you so much and congrats on your case complete! Cheers!

from what i know everything was accepted besides the checklist package that was scanned into the system on May 20th,

on May 24th i resubmitted DS-261 (you heard the stories about incomplete DS-261s)

does that mean that i have to wait for them to start reviewing 24th or this is the time when my package will be accepted (or not :/)

Hi Giona, I also rcvd a checklist to inform that we have to submit I864. Stupid lawyer made sth wrong on my i864, we resent it n it was scanned on 29May. Dont know if this is false checklist.

Hi called last night the representative that i talked to told me that our papers are not yet reviewed at that moment but will be in a couple of days, they scanned our aos may 13th then today my husband got an email from NVC and he said he doesnt know what that email means so im guessing its a false checklist heres the screenshot pls let me know if its really a false or real checklist

Hi vickyricky if you received the same email as mine then its a false checklist, a few of them here in VJ says it is false so theres nothing to worry about how ever if the NVC scanned your AOS checklist last may 29th then theres a possibility that youll still received an email from them it can be a real or false checklist or a case complete. Go try and call tho if your still not sure. Just to verify

2) They were both DHL expressed on 05/28/2014 then scanned 06/02/2014, any idea when case should be complete in case no check list is generated (Hopefully) ?

I want to say it's faster considering they did scan both, meaning they got to the right place. Now when you pay your IV fee, they can just retrieve your files from the system and move you right along. Good call. I did the same.

filled out the form finally. husband didnt listen to me about the beneficiary's mailing address becasue some stupid friend of his told him to write his address since mails in pakistan get lost lol. so i guess we will be getting a checklist for that or maybe NVC will accept his address lets see. will mail it out tomm morning. thankyou guys for the help

Congratulations to all the folks who've recently had case completes.

It has been a very long process for us (and many others), as we lodged our application in April 2013 and still do not have a CC. The USCIS became heavily burdened at that time because Obama called on the agency to adjudicate a new immigration benefit called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Thus putting all of the I-130's to the back of the line. The young adults (DACA) did not need to to be processed with this urgency, - as they are all living, working and schooling in the US presently. Unfortunatley, this decision caused families and loved ones who were (and still are) processfing I-130's to be apart for inhumane, excessive periods of time. Another ill-advised government decision was to centralize i-130 processing and stop Embassies and Consulates abroad from accepting filings. And then adding insult to injury...pushing all said applications to the NBC. Most of us on this forum experienced being transferred out of the NBC to one the processing centers. Thus causing monumental delays.

These governmental agencies, that are paid for by us, were created to make the lives of ordinary American citizens a little bit better. The current system is archaic, cumbersome and wasteful. And of course, - lacking decent, helpful customer support. Hopefully there will be change soon.

Thankfully, there is Visajourney...And many members on this site, who are willing to take the time and help others out through this process. Saylin's wiki and this forum have been a great help.

And so we continue to wait, going on 16 months. Hopefully, we get our CC soon too.

Ok after 50 looonnng minutes of being on hold Agent Tessa informed me that we have a CASE COMPLETE as of today..Our documents were scanned on May 20th. She has no idea if they are still scheduling for July interview. I feel relieved ??

ok guys one last question.

part 6 information of sponsor and employment. in qs 13 they ask us to check the box if we filed all three previous tax returns. but we just filed 2013 so do we check that box or not? in 13a, 13B and 13c they are asking for incomes of different years so i assume that we check the box and put 0 dollar in 2011 and 2012?

If you filed for only 2013 but not 2012 and 2011 then you don't check it and I passed up Part 3, #7 I failed to put 1 for immigrant your sponsoring. Thank God for Jsumner86 bless her heart.
