No we are not combining incomes. We don't even need a joint sponsor as his income is way above poverty levels but since husband couldn't file taxes In 2011 and 2012 so he is just worried and including a sponsor. We don't need to combine incomes. The place where they ask for your total income, we just out my husband's income fom 2013 right? And in sponsor's form they will fill their own income for previous 3 years correct?

In the fields for previous tax years, you need to put the income as it appears on the tax returns or tax transcripts. Since I assume your husband filed separately from his sponsor for 2013, he'd put that number on his I-864. Your joint sponsor would list his or her income as it appears on the tax returns/transcripts from 2011-2013.

I never said to combine incomes. I said that when a joint sponsor is married and files as such for tax returns, on the tax transcript, the amount that needs to be put on the I-864 form is the combined income of the joint sponsor and their spouse. There's no separated amounts on tax transcripts for each person.

So, on the petitioner's I-864, your husband will put his amounts from his tax transcripts. Then, for the joint sponsor's I-864, if they're married, they're going to put the amount (that's already combined) from the tax transcript. They'll then need to include their W2s.

With married joint sponsors, the only question where they put their own, individual income is the one asking for current annual individual income. That's based on pay stubs and the employment letter, not any tax transcripts.

I'm actually not convinced reading the confirmation number would work. I'm in the same situation, submitted once on May 13th then it went incomplete and I submitted again on May 21st. I looked at both my confirmation pages and the confirmation number is exactly the same on both.

I've tried to get NVC to do something but they won't because in their system May 21st is the only date they have. So now I'm just playing the waiting game.

Well, we did what we could. Hopefully this week we'll finally get our IV bills. So tired of this.

yay.gifyay.gif CASE COMPLETE as of June 18th!!! :dancing: :jest:

So happy right now!!! Didn't catch the name of the operator, she told me that my case was going to be sent to the embassy shortly, because of my expedited interview request.

Thank you everybody for the support and advice and special thanks to Saylin!!!! smileys-thanks-771216.gifThis would have been impossible without you :luv:

Good luck to all of you who are still waiting!!!! I'll stay here to support you! emoticon-cheerleader.gif

How do i get to the last page of this thread?

At the top and bottom of the page you should see:

<< prev 5, 6, 7, 8, next >>

<< will take you to the first page

prev will take you back one page

the numbers will take you directly to that page

next will take you to the next page

>> will take you to the last page.

You should also see on the top (right hand side) an option to go the "first unread post". This makes it easier to pick up from where you left off if you like to read through all the posts.

If you don't see << or >> then it means you are on the first or last page respectively.

I found there is one who paid IV fee by money order, not online. She did this and now she got an interview day.

Is there anyone else who sent money order for paying IV fee instead of paying it online?

I found this.

You can pay by cheque, but don't know how long it will take to clear and to show PAID and give you the bar-code sheet. Don't know if anyone really used this method on here. The online payment is much easier to look after.

They still will have to look through your Civil Docs anyways. Doesn't matter which way you pay. It depends how fast the NVC is working with reviewing docs.
