My AOS scanned date was May 19, which means today is the "21 st Business Day"

Anyone around that date and waiting for AOS to be reviewed?

Smiley-raising-waving-hand.gif Me. AOS May 16th and IV May 19th... My AOS package is still under review -_-

I just want to know if there are any checklists, in case that I need to ask my joint sponsor to send us something (I'm sure that it will take him a few days to send anything we ask him)... Or if I have to run to get another birth certificate (if NVC doesn't want to believe that what I sent was an original doc <_<)

i'm 20th and i'm curious what is going on at NVC.

my husband is very stubborn and he doesn't want to call cause in his opinion it's not our time yet, grrrr.

I think that NVC will need at least a couple more days before getting to the 20th :pop:

hi guyz,

Today i have received an email from NVC stating that "we have finished your case and we will send you interview date, do not contact with local embassy," so it means our case is complete now ? and we should wait for the interview date ? they also stated that i should bring the tax return of co-sponsor in interview.. does everyone received the same email on case completion? it is compulsory to bring tax returns of cosponsor in interview ? i am confused please advice.

thanx.

That deserves a Congratulations!!!! CC is a wonderful thing :dancing::goofy::luv:

I am the beneficiary. My husband just started his own company and since it's still a start-up there's not enough income just yet. We qualify through assets but most of them are in foreign income that cannot be transferred to dollars so easily (because of Venezuelan foreign currency exchange controls)... Soooo we decided to have a joint sponsor just to be sure. He is a friend of my husband.

I graduated recently, and I never looked for a job here because I thought that I would be in the U.S. by now (so naive, right? )

At the moment I am studying for a standardized exam, which I should pass in order to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the U.S. someday B-) Also updating my linkedin profile and resume...

so i called nvc today to clarify when our IR1 and IR2 ds 261 is in their casefile, luckily i talked with the nice attendant and he told me that mine was submitted last june 3 ( the date i filled it up both mine and my daughter's ds261) but he told me that he just received like yesterday on my daughters ds261?? i filled it up on the same day!! why is it on different date ? whats gonna happen?

I did send the email as soon as I had the case #, the DS-261 was completed a few days later. I don't know for sure, but I think my IV invoice was triggered by me email rather than the DS-261 as they replied to it one day and the invoice was sent the following day so I'd say go for it.

Hmm, that's a little suspicious, not sure if there's anything to read into it or not.

Welcome. You are possibly aware of this already, but do take proof of employment, mortgage/rent, and anything else to prove you will return home and await the visa.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It does say if you need to make changes, call the NVC so I'd call them if I were you and ask for their advice.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

If the DS-260 is available then submit it, it doesn't matter if you have sent the other paperwork or not.

Hey I noticed that you re-submitted your ds-261 and was recieved by nvc in May 22 and that's exactly the date that mine was recieved and I still don't have my iv invoiced. Did you do anything different?

I had the same thing happen to my parents' cases. I submitted their DS-261 on May 21 and they say they received my mom's on May 23, and my dad's on June 3. I asked why there was a difference in dates as I submitted the forms on the same day and the representative told me it was normal when that happened...Idk but I still don't have IV fee generated

Really hoping for IV fee today or tomorrow... we're moving apartments at the end of the month and I really want all my documentation to have gone in (since it's all in the old address) before I have to do an address change and/or change the forms. AOS is in, so that's the major one... but my cover letter and whatnot all has our current return addresses etc, and I'd really rather not have to edit and rescan, since IV documents are totally ready to go as soon as fee is paid. Come on NVC, get your butts in gear!

Is your timeline updated?

June 11...

sorry that got you confused..

I emailed AOS on may 20. I called June 2nd, June 7th, and June 10th to confirm if they received my AOS package. They said they did not know because they did not have access to EP. I got a little worried.

So I called again on June 13, last Friday, the operator told me their system is showing they have it on June 11 and it's under review... and NVC will contact me through Email within 30 days :clock::clock:

And I already knew that I will have a checklist for not putting N/A under "Place of Residence" ... so waiting for the checklist...:oops:
