I called NVC - Case Complete!!!!!!!!!

Didnt get e mail yet.

AOS checklist 9 May

new AOS scanned to system 16 MAY

so "around" 20 business days :)

Yaya!!! COngrats!

P. S. My AOS fee did change to N/A (hours after I received verbal case complete from Agent Jean).

Mine changed back to "paid" after I got my interview date and it was shipped out to Paris. Such a weird system they have that makes absolutely no sense...go figure.

I just got a check list for my AOS that was scanned on 5/16. Just the part 13.a.1. For caution do I need to send all docs or just the revise I864?

Also I would like to add another doc on my IV packet that was already sent. I'm sure I will get a checklist for that one, is it to go ahead and sent it before they review the initial packet?

If so on the cover sheet the place it says ATTN:

What is the right acronym for IV?

Thanks

you can send it with the same bar coded cover sheet. I got a checklist for both and they are both same. ATT: DR

Called nvc

Iv is still not invoiced. Dude told me that it takes 30 business days from the 22nd

As for the aos they recieved an email on the 20th (which is when i emailed my aos) but my reviewed yet.

More waiting....

How come some people have DS261 complete and accepted on the same day and some are told there is a 30 business day review period? I am still waiting on a IV invoice which should come after DS261 is accepted, right? I completed DS261 on 5/12. Still waiting....

Does the status on the ceac website change as soon as you get a verbal case complete?

The only thing that changes is the AOS fee changes from PAID to N/A. It doesn't happen with everyone, but this month it seems to be a very good indicator of case complete.

Do I need to enroll my case at NVC by sending them an email with both husband and I contact information?

I did send the email as soon as I had the case #, the DS-261 was completed a few days later. I don't know for sure, but I think my IV invoice was triggered by me email rather than the DS-261 as they replied to it one day and the invoice was sent the following day so I'd say go for it.

Is it normal for it to look like this? Where it doesn't even show anything under applicant name or any other information. It's been about 3 hours now, I'm not exactly worried but I've heard 30 minutes from multiple people and never anything else.

Hmm, that's a little suspicious, not sure if there's anything to read into it or not.

Thank you for the sweet welcome message!

This thread moves so fast and it's pretty hard to catch up haha.

But there are many usuful information for NVC process and I'm happy to be here.

My husband says I should wait with no stress.

I know I should enjoy the rest of my life in Tokyo because I will live in America for long time from this year for sure.

I know this visa process sucks, but I should not to feel stress since this stupid and annoying visa process will be done this year for sure:)

That sounds crazy we have to wait for a month to pay IV fee.

But well I will try to wait until the day comes.

I'm going to Hawaii to spend vacation with my husband this weekend. He is coming from LA.

I've been to LA for 3times during my I-130, and this is the first time to go to America after NOA2.

I hope I can enter the US without any problems..

Good luck everyone!

Welcome. You are possibly aware of this already, but do take proof of employment, mortgage/rent, and anything else to prove you will return home and await the visa.

CASE COMPLETE as of June 11th! :):dancing: Waiting for an interview.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Hello all, I am here with yet another question. My application is still under process, i filled out my DS-260 in April. In the last week of May, me and my wife were blessed with a baby girl :) Now in the DS- 260 i have written i have no children, however the situation has changed now, do i jst explain this at the interview or do i have to notify the NVC?

It does say if you need to make changes, call the NVC so I'd call them if I were you and ask for their advice.

I called NVC - Case Complete!!!!!!!!!

Didnt get e mail yet.

AOS checklist 9 May

new AOS scanned to system 16 MAY

so "around" 20 business days :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

hello, I have a question can you sent the DS 260 doc. before you submit the paperwork ? I have already paid the fee just waiting for it to be accepted insha Allah.
