Happy to get an email that my AOS checklist has finally been delivered. Hoping they scan it in by the end of the week so I can start my count down. Still odd that the delivery email said my consignment consisted of 5 articles.....Let's hope one of them is my checklist docs!

According to the NVC rep that I talked to last week, it takes 10 days to show up in their system from the delivered date. :mellow:

Someone talked to a supervisor today, and they said it takes 2-3 weeks to review a checklist document, not 30 days. -_-

Maybe NVC is picking up the pace? :)

If I hadn't gotten the checklist, I would be hoping for a case complete this week, but now another month to wait. Not much I can do, but it's funny that tomorrow marks one year since we sent in our I-130 paperwork. I would never have guessed we would still be waiting.

I have decided to look on the bright side and spend my remaining time in Australia with the people I will miss when I go, instead of being impatient and negative, I am going to treat the next few months as a giant going away party and enjoy every moment.

I also have to keep reminding myself how EXTREMELY lucky I am that I am waiting with my husband and even though I have waited a year, I would wait longer if some of you who are separated from your spouse could be reunited sooner. And I really do mean that. (L) Have a great week VJ friends, I hope this wait is over for us all very soon. :goofy:

Also from Australia, our IV documents were delivered today and the tracking also says 5 Articles. Who knows what that means!!

I am happy that you are with your husband - truly I am. Unfortunately the children and I have been away from my husband since last September when he was transferred to work back in US.

Hopefully won't be too long for us now. Keeping fingers crossed for no checklists.

same here, I have been waiting for 2 weeks since the email,,,,,I am just sick of this process :ranting::ranting:

Yes I AM REALLY SICK OF IT TOO. I am obsessed, I check on my laptop, through my phone while I am at work with the hopes that the invoice is there and is like every day is a let down.

I feel so envious of everyone who gets to mail packages in. I'm worried of this EP process being anything like the regular e-mail process: 30 day wait time for them to even open it. That means if I get a checklist its an instant 30 days before they even open the e-mail!, then what, 2-3 weeks to review? :crying:

Do I need to enroll my case at NVC by sending them an email with both husband and I contact information?

It's best to call them, as emails take about a month to be acknowledged at NVC.

I got a stupid checklist for N/A on place of residence (no, I did not know about this at the time I mailed it in). I just want to go cry in a corner now. Anyone got a checklist only for this? I want this fixed now. This is ridiculous.

Thanks for replying, I feel better that yours also said 5 articles and we sent by courier on the same day (maybe the 5 articles is yours, mine and 3 others...?)

I can't imagine how hard it must be to be apart from your spouse since September, especially with kids. Fingers and toes crossed it's over for you very soon.

Sorry if this has been answered before but, how long approximately does it take for a Green Card to arrive at the US address after an interview?

And, do you know the Green Card number before the physical card actually arrives?

My friend Ronald M. Is a key part of my strategy for acclimating the family to US.

Because of the time difference just had back to back Fathers Days....

Leaving for the Airport in 24 hours.

Good tip, although my daughter is a little too old for Ronald. My acclimating plan for her is Twilight's Robert Pattinson (She is team Edward). :lol:
